Macon - 4/8/09
I definitely have a lot to say about my 3 shows. Macon is a little fuzzy but I can give you something. LOL. Macon - was a lot colder than normal. I had my dad drive me down and my cousin was going to pick me back up. I had stayed by the buses from about 5pm til they started letting us in. So I see Neal and David and Andy at random different times. But I don't get to say hello or say anything with them. I had finally seen David come out of the building and get into a Subaru. And at about 7:30pm when the doors opened he strolled out of the Subaru and had the phone attached to this ear so no contact then either. I find my friends and find my seat in the balcony. The balcony was awesome actually! We had 4th row and could see the entire stage. Ryan rocked as usual! Then while waiting for David they were playing the music and then right before he came out they start playing Foo Fighters "My Hero" like his intro song. The lights go low and he starts TWIK. YAY. He finally gets to his first "talk" of the night and starts to count the little kiddies in the balcony, it was adorable! The opera house was a cool place but not really for a rock show. He started to talk about the cool weather. He was saying that the cold was following them. I said that too DAVID! At least I wasn't the one that said it! This was the night where I first saw the guitar sex again! I was like OMG for real! And KOTN he wanted us to "moan" for him. Basically he said that he wanted to see what we got. He was like that wasn't bad at all. Honestly I don't remember much of anything else. But he did try to fling the pick to the balcony in my area. He tried and it was so cute.
