The "Light On" music video is sick! Its great I loved it. I'm still glad thats its still a top hit. I do wonder when he's going to make another music video, though.
I am sitting listening to the album, it is wonderful !! Love the words, of each ot the song and also find that you create a change in your voice is some songs. I would discribe it a a great sexiness, you can also feel the depth of each song and the feelings are coming out loud and clear in each song.
I can't believe that this single has had such little play...who is promoting it????
As an old rocker, I think this song is fantastic. If the album is anything like this song, it should be huge. Best of luck to you, David. You have everything it takes to be a huge success.

I love it when a video makes me look at a song differently. And like the single – the Light On vocals are strong and David's range is incredible. This song has been "stuck in my brain" for weeks.
As far as the video, I’m still struggling to parse out the thematic significance of
(1) The “out of sync” lip-syncing, as well as the reasons for
(2) Seeing David’s breath one minute, and then having it noticeably absent in the next frame .
I’m sure both are significant, because they are overt and very jarring. So how DO they tie in and further inform the artists view? I've never seen these techniques used intentionally before. What did you think - what do they mean?
David your voice still makes me melt! Wish you were still here in KC, but wish you nothing but the best. You've got it man, and I can't wait for more!!!! Great job on the video and good luck as always.

Once again i'm sayin' i don't understand why the world hasn't stopped in it's tracks to say "hello? have you seen this david cook guy? he's a great singer, writer and most of all he's the hottest man in the history of the world!!" seriously somethin about that guy MMMMMM......MMMMM.........MMMMMMMMM..... anyway i think the video could be better if he was makin out with me!!!! it should be about him workin in a diner waitin on me to figure out life and fallin in love with him!!!! whatever i would stutter and drool on myself when i seen him, (which is what i'm gonna do at a concert, after i buy backstage passes!!!! and then go to jail for inappropriate groping!!!) but that would make the video more interesting to people like................... well me!!!!! love you!!!!!!!

In my opinion the bicycle light is the main focus of the story. Our hero is there for her when the other jerk has left her alone in the dark. Okay, it's been done before, but so what. It will appeal to a lot of people who can relate to these circumstances in one way or another. I loved it because of the simplicity of it. Predictable? Yeah, but very satisfying to all us romantics. Light On can be interpreted in many different ways. This is one of them and I think it works well. David has light all around him throughout the song. Very fitting. I like the football field. David has scored big with this one.
I'm not a fan of the video. I love the song. I think that it shows his vocals amazingly. However I don't like the video. I don't see Light On as a love song. I think of it as leaving behind friends and family to go off and live your own life, not leaving a girlfriend or boyfriend behind. But that's just my own interpretation of the song. And I don't understand why he's on a football field.
However I do love to watch him sing. He always puts everything into singing a song and it's a wonderful thing to see. <3

David the video is awesome it's a well written song and well directed video. I enjoy the symbolism of light portrayed in the video how it goes from the light at the football field behind you to the light on the bicycle at the end of the video, it goes to show that the light is always on. You have a very gracious way of letting the camera capture your facial expressions and the amount of emotion you pour into your performances leaves us to ponder what's in store for us next. Thank you for sharing your heart an soul with all of us!! So I guess I am wondering as far as the next video will it be a "Declaration" David??

The more I play this video, the more I am blown away. I was always impressed with the band on the field and now I enjoy the interspersed story as well. I am actually glad now that there isn't some heavy message that the lyrics first had me envisioning. David, himself, was absolutly amazing throughout. If I had my choice of just listening to the song, watching the SNL band only performance, or watching this, I would hands down go directly to this Davideo. It really sells the song. I love our hero going off into the light.
