I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
Musical talent. Of course. David Cook is the whole salad with dressing. His music is catchy, his voice is pleasing to the ear (understatement there), and he believes everything he sings.
That's the obvious, the dust jacket of the book. Here's the story.
David Cook is a rare find. I haven't met the guy (I shouldn't say that -- I got his autograph once, but the point is I don't know him), and he means something to me. He represents something I've always craved from the world. Understanding. Acceptance. Appreciation. The guy exudes love, and before you go calling me a hippie, let me explain. He's confident, secure, and open. He's the rock star version of Princess Diana or Barack Obama or JFK. He sees people as people, and can reach out to them, touch them with his actions, and, more importantly, with his music. He has the ability to do so much good with the position he's earned, and he won't shirk or abuse it. Because he's David Cook. Heh. Just when I've convinced you I'm not a hippie, you're going to start thinking I'm an idolater. Not so. Just an admirer.
Alright, alright. Now here's the back cover of the book, which nobody can deny. David Cook... you're just so darn cute.
Wow!
Congratulations!! You must be so excited. Have fun (and David's gonna love you)!
