I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...David Cook is absolutely amazing to listen to and see in concert! I had lost interest in most of AI until the night I heard David since "Hello" and I sat up (literally) because I knew then and there a new huge talent was rising. After that, I wouldn't miss an episode of AI and voted for the first time ever on AI...and again and again until the right person who chosen as the American Idol of 2008! I can't tell you how the nuances of his voice can touch the depth of one's heart -- both in tenderness and passion. Talk about an incredibly beautiful voice that speaks such heartfelt tenderness and passion!! Man, the guy can sing like few others in the world! I pre-ordered his album online months in advance and love it! "Light On" speaks to any of us who've left loved ones and ache for their presence; "Life on the Moon" -- man, I think I've worn out my iPhone listening to it. Gonna gift "David Cook" for birthdays this year!!
David - if you get a chance to read this - please know how happy I am for you, that I wish you all the best in the years ahead and am grateful for your tenacity to get to where you are, your eloquence, your humor and your sincere humility. I look forward to following your career, in album and concerts and more, in the years ahead until the sun sets on my days. Above all, thank you for the awesome music you make for us all! You're awesome, man.

You and Your Loved Ones ...
remain in my heart's thoughts and I wish you all the privacy and space you need to deal with the pain that comes from the death of a loved one like your brother, Adam. Life will never be the same, but you're on the right track, I think, to live more fully in honor of him. Make every day count even more!
Peace, good man,
Scott
