OMG! It's about freakin' time!! Although... what the heck is up with iTunes?? Not usually a fan of conspiracy theories (and don't know who the Conspirator would be...) - but could this song have been any harder to locate????? I assumed it would be on the front page (banner or simply in the "New Releases" section). But..... NO..... to find it you have to search "David Cook Light On" or search "David Cook" and click on the link on the left of that page "David Cook - Rock" to find it. DAMN iTUNES!! GRRRRRRRR....

For something.... ANYTHING.... new from David!! New pic, new blog, new vlog, new interview.... GAH!!! I'm losing my mind! I feel like a crack addict going through withdrawals... Yes, David - you are like a drug! You stimulate the pleasure centers in my brain, leaving me wanting for more!

It's been several days now... and still no "Light On" on local (or satellite) radio... My local "pop" station has a banner on their website with a link to a player to hear the song - but haven't heard it in general rotation yet. COME ON PEOPLE!!! I'm on pins and needles, waiting 4 more days to buy the song on iTunes! Then I will be able to listen 24/7 - desperately waiting for the next installment.

Well, a new day dawns with more Light On! Man do I love this song! As a testiment to his range as an artist - David continues to grow and evolve. I've read comments on others sites about people thinking this isn't "rock enough" or "isn't like what he did on American Idol"... well, no it's not!
