hear Permanent. Being a breast
cancer survivor I can relate to this illness. I lost a grandfather and
Uncle to cancer and it's very hard to
see someone you love hurting so much. I was one of the lucky ones that it
was caught very very early
and I am 5 years in remission this year. My sisters and I walked in the
Susan G Komen 3 day walk in
Philly and it was an awesome experience. We raised $12,800 for this
organization I am so happy to have
done that. I wish this disease could be cured once and for all. I hate
seeing little children having to suffer
and it's just torture for the whole family. You feel so helpless:((

You sang great, you looked great. Loved the band, they seem to connect with you great. I loved the whole thing, drove 2 hours to get there, stood in the rain for over an hour to keep my place in line.. Very much worth it.

So, this comment has nothing to do with your most recent video, but I have a strong inclination to let you know, David, in some way what I want to say.
I just listened and watched your performance on the finale of this seasons American Idol...I wasn't able to watch it live due to no cable.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you a million times for bringing more awareness to brain cancer and to those and their families.
My mom passed away three years ago on her birthday from multiforme glioblastoma...I dont know what kind your brother had, but its brain cancer none the less.
I don't know your pain, but I know how it is to lose someone you love and even before seeing them suffer...fighting with all guns blazing.
You have a beautiful voice, you are an amazing person, and I feel that you have been the voice of the many of us out there that have been effected by such a horrible disease.
May God bless you! You are a one of a kind...not just saying that....you have an amazing gift and you understand how to utilize it.. you use your heart and it shows - its encouraging to see!

I finally got to see your show in Lansing, Michigan, I've followed your rise to fame all the way through Idol and I knew at the moment I first saw you on Idol that you were it! As I stood in the mosh pit and watched the concert last night, I was in awe of your true talent and humbleness. You are truly the type of performer that deserves to be right where he is and more. I'm sure you've heard this several hundred times but I have to tell you. I wish in the deepest part of my heart that I could meet you and follow your dreams with you. But reality smacks you in the face. So, I'll follow along with the rest of the fans from the pits of the shows and admire your awesome talent.

I could tell that you really love performing, and you made us feel like you were so happy to be there (even though I know you must be exhausted from all the touring). I realize Chattanooga might not be on your top list of places to perform, but having you in our city meant so much to those of us that were there. I just wanted to say thanks for an amazing and unforgettable performance. You are so talented, and I'm thrilled that I could see that in person. Hi David I love your music, most importantly my thirteen year old daughter loves your music and has the biggest crush on you, which is pretty amazing considering when boys at school try to talk to her she tells them to check back with her when she is done with her education. I have tried to get tickets for her to see you and they are always sold out. We live in the Bayou State, so its not like you are going to visit here very often. Even when you were on idol tour in Shreveport I couldn't get her there to see you. She said she has to see you before you get old, married, and have a thousand children. So if you have any intentions of coming back to the Bayou State will you send a email or blog please. Skylar knows every song on your cd by heart. She goes around the house singing it with out the music. When they took the end of year field trip at school she came home smiling saying mom the school bus driver turned the music up David came on and everyone on the bus was singing his song including the bus driver how cool was that she said. I truly believe that she is probably your biggest fan. Her older brother is your age and is married he tells her to get a grip and that she needs to seek professional help. Skylar responded by saying, I have a 4.0 GPA and have had it since 1st grade I do believe I can have one distraction and it will always be David Cook. I don't mind her going crazy over you, you seem to have a good heart, no drug issues to my knowledge, and hey I can understaand the words you sing. So please keep the Bayou State in mind, We live in West Monroe and Shreveport is only two hours away. Continue to sing beautifully, continue to have a good heart, and most important of all stay grounded. Don't let the music shape who you are, you shape the music.

So just like a typical crazy fan, i waited, and waited and waited for your album, until i finally got it. Now it's the only music that i listen to, including of course your other songs from AI, and axium and AH. Now i try to follow your tour through the internet, everyday i check you on youtube, ha! ha! ha!, i know you said it's "like a bastard" but to me it plays an important role as it brings you closer to me. I have never been this crazy over an artists but then you happen, and just like coke, you "add"life, really, you make me enjoy life more. One more thing, i hope you don't mind to have old fans like me, it's just that i have never before known or heard an artists worthy of all my admiration and love, but now i have you. I just saw you in Galveston when you performed with Needtobreath and I almost didn't even stay for the show since it was delayed an hour and a half. I had never heard your music before except once or twice on the radio so I really didn't know what I would have missed out on.......
I have to say that I am so glad I stayed. Not even because of your talent but because of how many times during the show you said "thank you". You seem like such a genuinely humble person that it makes it so easy for the audience to connect with you. Your songs are so great and I love how much you seem to love what you do. David- I went to Red White and boom 14 and you pretty much made the entire night AMAZING. I was right in the front row and couldn't believe how amazing you performed. I honestly almost started to cry when you played A daily antheM, not only because it was your last song that you were going to perform, but because of the way you got the entire crowd involved and really made the night special for everyone that attended.
The heat and the rain made the concert a little less than the ideal weather, but you made it all worth it! Blue October, The Veronicas, Kevin Rudolf and all the others that also performed were awesome as well!
Thank you so much for coming out and playing for your home town fans! We love you so much!!

My mom passed away three years ago on her birthday from multiforme glioblastoma...I dont know what kind your brother had, but its brain cancer none the less.
I don't know your pain, but I know how it is to lose someone you love and even before seeing them suffer...fighting with all guns blazing.
You have a beautiful voice, you are an amazing person, and I feel that you have been the voice of the many of us out there that have been effected by such a horrible disease.
May God bless you! You are a one of a kind...not just saying that....you have an amazing gift and you understand how to utilize it.. you use your heart and it shows - its encouraging to see!

Just watched a video of the Allman Brothers doing their song 'Whipping Post' and would LOVE to see David and the band do it. The Dr would kill on the guitar and I would love to hear David do his version of the vocals. GREAT GREAT song....

I finally got to see your show in Lansing, Michigan, I've followed your rise to fame all the way through Idol and I knew at the moment I first saw you on Idol that you were it! As I stood in the mosh pit and watched the concert last night, I was in awe of your true talent and humbleness. You are truly the type of performer that deserves to be right where he is and more. I'm sure you've heard this several hundred times but I have to tell you. I wish in the deepest part of my heart that I could meet you and follow your dreams with you. But reality smacks you in the face. So, I'll follow along with the rest of the fans from the pits of the shows and admire your awesome talent.
I commend you for having the courage to follow your dream and reap the rewards of success. Many people get stuck where they are in life, Dreaming and wondering what would have happened. Some would give anything to reverse time and do things all over agian. For your courage, humbleness, gratitute to the fans, and undenyable talent....I thank you!

David- I attended your concert in Chattanooga, TN last night. You and the band were really fantastic. I could tell that you really love performing, and you made us feel like you were so happy to be there (even though I know you must be exhausted from all the touring). I realize Chattanooga might not be on your top list of places to perform, but having you in our city meant so much to those of us that were there. I just wanted to say thanks for an amazing and unforgettable performance. You are so talented, and I'm thrilled that I could see that in person. I wish you the best of luck in your career, and I'll continue to support you and your gift in anyway I can.

Hi David I love your music, most importantly my thirteen year old daughter loves your music and has the biggest crush on you, which is pretty amazing considering when boys at school try to talk to her she tells them to check back with her when she is done with her education. I have tried to get tickets for her to see you and they are always sold out. We live in the Bayou State, so its not like you are going to visit here very often. Even when you were on idol tour in Shreveport I couldn't get her there to see you. She said she has to see you before you get old, married, and have a thousand children. So if you have any intentions of coming back to the Bayou State will you send a email or blog please. Skylar knows every song on your cd by heart. She goes around the house singing it with out the music. When they took the end of year field trip at school she came home smiling saying mom the school bus driver turned the music up David came on and everyone on the bus was singing his song including the bus driver how cool was that she said. I truly believe that she is probably your biggest fan. Her older brother is your age and is married he tells her to get a grip and that she needs to seek professional help. Skylar responded by saying, I have a 4.0 GPA and have had it since 1st grade I do believe I can have one distraction and it will always be David Cook. I don't mind her going crazy over you, you seem to have a good heart, no drug issues to my knowledge, and hey I can understaand the words you sing. So please keep the Bayou State in mind, We live in West Monroe and Shreveport is only two hours away. Continue to sing beautifully, continue to have a good heart, and most important of all stay grounded. Don't let the music shape who you are, you shape the music.

Hi! David Cook, thanks for sharing your life and your music to me and to all your fans. I first saw you on AI, that's where you hooked me. So just like a typical crazy fan, i waited, and waited and waited for your album, until i finally got it. Now it's the only music that i listen to, including of course your other songs from AI, and axium and AH. Now i try to follow your tour through the internet, everyday i check you on youtube, ha! ha! ha!, i know you said it's "like a bastard" but to me it plays an important role as it brings you closer to me. I have never been this crazy over an artists but then you happen, and just like coke, you "add"life, really, you make me enjoy life more. One more thing, i hope you don't mind to have old fans like me, it's just that i have never before known or heard an artists worthy of all my admiration and love, but now i have you. Pleasantly Surprised
I just saw you in Galveston when you performed with Needtobreath and I almost didn't even stay for the show since it was delayed an hour and a half. I had never heard your music before except once or twice on the radio so I really didn't know what I would have missed out on.......
I have to say that I am so glad I stayed. Not even because of your talent but because of how many times during the show you said "thank you". You seem like such a genuinely humble person that it makes it so easy for the audience to connect with you. Your songs are so great and I love how much you seem to love what you do. Thanks for such a great show!

Hi, Im 17 and I go to Blue Springs High School. I just wanted to say that you and your band were amazing at Red White and Boom. I felt so priveledged to be there and see you perform in your home town 
I was standing close to the front row and could tell that you were having a blast. I especially loved A Daily Anthem... i was on such a high when you had the entire crowd raise up their hands and sing with you. And Im pretty sure that that moment must have felt special for you too

David- I went to Red White and boom 14 and you pretty much made the entire night AMAZING. I was right in the front row and couldn't believe how amazing you performed. I honestly almost started to cry when you played A daily antheM, not only because it was your last song that you were going to perform, but because of the way you got the entire crowd involved and really made the night special for everyone that attended.
The heat and the rain made the concert a little less than the ideal weather, but you made it all worth it! Blue October, The Veronicas, Kevin Rudolf and all the others that also performed were awesome as well!
Thank you so much for coming out and playing for your home town fans! We love you so much!!
