Check out David Cook (attending Shadow Buddies Foundation 2nd Annual Golf Classic). He takes time out to chat with fans, wishes Crystal and Lee good luck on American Idol, names Matt Serletic (Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, Aerosmith, etc.) as producer for sophomore album, and says they're ready to hit the studio in early June.

After raising money (his team raised $140K! Amazing!) for brain cancer research, and before running in the 13th annual Race For Hope in Washington DC on Sunday, David gave this amazing speech to inspire the runners. It was funny and smart and touching, all at the same time.
In addition to the speech, he also did a great interview with Tommy McFly where he talked about the race, his training regimen, and the support of his family. Check out videos after the jump.

American Idol winner David Cook is lacing up for a very personal cause on Sunday, May 2 as he joins walkers, runners, activists and survivors at the 13th Annual Race for Hope – DC, presented by Cassidy Turley (www.curebraintumors.org).
David has spoken on numerous occasions about his brother, Adam, who lost his valiant battle with brain cancer last year. This year, David returns to the Race for Hope – DC to remember his brother and send a message of hope and resilience to the families of 600,000 people living with a primary brain tumor diagnosis in the United States.

David Cook made a recent appearance on American Idol last night for the Idol Gives Back charity organization, where he shared his experience working with the UN Foundation in Ethiopia at the Biruh Tesfa Program school for girls. In the video below David discusses the hardships that these young girls face in Ethiopia and introduces some of the inspirational girls he met during the trip.

Hey everyone. Just checking in to give you guys an update on everything...
First off, we are sad to announce that Joey will no longer be playing bass for us. We are certainly sad to see him go, and wish him nothing but the best as he moves on to his next musical endeavor. Our good friend, Monty Anderson, will be filling in for the immediate future while we attempt, amidst the shows ahead, to find a permanent, viable replacement.
