  • I use to think this feeling
    Wasn’t real
    And all I knew
    Was in my head

    I kept myself locked
    And hid away
    Just holding on
    For another day

    But then you came
    And taught me to see
    That you will always
    Be a part of me
    No matter where you are
    And where I’ll be
You will always be a part of me

    I had a plan
And it was laid out neat
My days were charted so sweet

    I kept my heart
    Away from all the colors
The black and blue and green

    But then you came
    And taught me to see
    That you will always
    Be a part of me
    No matter where you are
    And where I’ll be

  • This is dedicated to David and the one year anniversary of DCTR.
David, thank you for the inspiration.

    One November day
    There he stood
    One November day
    All was good

    One November day
    We heard the sweet sound
    One November day
    Love was all around

    He was there
    So were we
    And in that moment
    Our lives changed

    Something moved us
    Something stirred us
    Our lives were rearranged

    One November day
    He reminded us
    And helped us understand

    One November day
    He reached out
    And we took his hand

    He was there
    So were we
    And in that instant
    Our lives changed

    He moved us

  • As some of you know this was my first concert on David’s solo tour. There are many words I could use to describe the concert but the one word that has remained in my mind since the ending note on ADAM was “incredible.”

Mr. Sensitive was always on “the slow burner” for me and I would skip over it on the CD. After hearing it last night I have a new appreciation for it. David’s voice, to me sounded very pure and clear. I agree, it was a great opening song.

  • There’s a picture
    And he is holding me
    There’s a picture
    And he is smiling

    I knew his name
    He was strong and good
    I knew his name
    As anyone could
    I knew his name

    There’s a picture
And he is next to me
    There’s a picture
    And he is smiling

    I knew his name
    He was strong and good
    I knew his name
    As anyone could
    I knew his name

    There’s a picture
    But he is leaving me
    There’s a picture
    And I am crying

    I knew his name
    He was strong and good
    I knew his name
    As anyone could
    I knew his name

    I knew his name
And he was so strong and good
    I knew his name

  • Sometimes they cut
    No matter what
    Or who you are
    Sometimes they burn
    Until you learn
Not to fall in too far

    You were there
    I was here
    No Face
    No sound
    Just our thoughts
    Swirling around

    I was lost
    So were you
We said what we wanted to
    No special place to be
But I thought you’d hear me

    Sometimes they cut
    No matter what
    Or who you are
    Sometimes they burn
    Until you learn
Not to fall in too far

    Sometimes you’d laugh
    Sometimes I could feel it
    Sometimes you’d cry
Sometimes I thought I could heal it

    I was lost
    So were you
We said what we wanted to
