I thought I would wait a few more hours and listen one more time. I had expected a song with this kind of dance vibe from Adam, but still not rocking my socks off. Just can't get Britney out of my head when I hear the song and of course the first thing I do when one of her songs comes on the radio is to change the channel. I just can't shake the feeling that they are trying too hard with this song to capture a run up the charts, but not enough emphasis on the artist's talents.
But then again maybe I am just not in the mood to see or hear anything from AL right now.

Finally a place to have a discussion without the "my idol is better than your idol" fanwars going on. So thank you for your thoughtful blog.
I did tune in this morning to hear FYE out of curiosity. When the song started, my first thought was OK, just as expected, an electro dance pop tune. But then I kept waiting for the song to take off and go somewhere. It seemed to have just stalled in place. After I read your blog I had to go back and re-listen to it as I had completely forgotten what it sounded like. -

An inspiration
I too was moved to tears while reading your beautiful story. You are an inspiration and have given me a new outlook on life this morning. I read your blog in the middle of another sleepless night, and was so overwhelmed that I needed some time to compose my thoughts before commenting. Thank you for sharing your story with us.
