I am a new member and your biggest fan. I just want you to know that I am praying for you and your family during this hard time. I can't imagine how hard it would be to loose a sibling, but I want you to know that God is watching over you and it's alright.
I have your CD and have had it since it came out and I love all of the songs. I noticed the Permanent was a very wonderful song, but I didn't really know what it was about. When you sang it on the American Idol finale I fell even more in love with that song and you I even bought it for my iPod I think it's wonderful that you're helping find a cure for cancer

When your CD came out I went to go buy it but my husband told me to wait until after Christmas. I really wanted it the day it came out but I listened to him because in truth it's the only thing I asked for period. My kids and the rest of my family and friends kept asking what else I would like and I just told them all, that really the only thing I want is your new CD. So imagine my disappointment on Christmas day after unwrapping all my gifts(and I received a fair amount from family and friends) no David Cook CD. Everyone felt bad and they all said the same thing. Because I asked so many people for the same gift they all believed that I would get several of the CDs so they got me something else (and thank you guys I got a lot of great gifts). So the day after Christmas I run to the store and buy the CD and when I got home my son, my husband, and my sister were all at my house waiting for me with (you guessed it) they all brought me the CD. So yea I kept them all. You never know years from now the unopened CDs could be worth some money...........

Hi David! I am new around here and you are new to me. Let me explain. I am from Portugal and I found you maybe one or two months ago on American Idol which isn't over here yet! Lol. I hardly heard you sing ( not because I didn't like it of course, but because you were usually on when I was doing something else so I didn't actually saw you singing in the begining). However, I went online last month and discovered that the show ended a looonnng time ago in the U.S and I found that you were the winner, so I began paying more attention and trying to see your performances and I have to say that you really blew me away. I absolutly LOVE IT! Then I saw the final moment on youtube and some performances like Always be my baby, Billie Jean, I still haven't found what I am looking for, etc and that was it! I think that between Thursday and today ( Sunday) I saw your videos 30 times or more! I just can't stop watching them! Especially Time of my Life. David I really want to say why I am your fan and I hope you actually have the time to read it, because it's important to me. When I hear your music I get chills, it's just amazing. You make me love your music, your lyrics, your intensity, you make me love you. Your lyrics really touch my heart with his beauty, your music is plunged in originality and purity. I believe you are an extraordinary artist and human being. Thank you for existing, thank you for your music.

I am sorry....about the topic lol I think your cd is not available here yet. When will it be? Are you planning a tour in Europe? I would love to see you in a live concert. Hope I could go to America one day and see it!

In the off chance that you ACTUALLY read this.... I wanted you to know that I am mother to your youngest fan. My son, Tristan, was 2 years old when he first saw you on American Idol and he has NEVER forgotten you. We watched American Idol every week last year. Other contestants would sing and he would not pay any attention. But when you started to sing, he would stop in his tracks and ask, "Who dat?" I would tell him and he would repeat, "David Cook. David Cook sings." Mind you, my son's speech was delayed a bit and he didn't have many words at that point. We were ecstatic that he could say 3 words in a sentence. Lucky you, it happened to be that he was singing your praises (pardon the pun). He didn't hear you sing again until December 26, 2008, after I got your CD for Christmas. The moment I put the CD in to play, he said, "David Cook!!!" It had been months since he'd heard your voice, but he never forgot. Now I am not allowed to remove the CD from my car or to play any other music while he's in the car. From the moment you start singing, he giggles and says your name quietly to himself. Before you, Michael Buble had been played in the car for 3 years straight. He wouldn't let anyone else be played - not even the Beatles!??? You are extremely talented and I wish you much success in your career. Tristan and I can't wait for what's next.

Hay david, i know im a little late but happy new year. Im am truley blessed to have you in my life (i know that sounds weird, and im sorry.) You winning american idol is the best thing that could of happened. You have inspired me to try out next year. (Ive always been scared to tryout)
Also you CD has honestly been the best 15 dollars I have EVER spent. You always cheer me up, whenever Im upset I pop in your CD and listen to the message your songs have and it cheers me up!

Plus, you have an AMAZING VOICE, your incrediably beautiful, and from the looks of it you have an amazing personailityy. Im very happy for you with all your sucess. And i truley hope this year brings great things for you. PLEASE COME TO ROANOKE VA!! I would enjoy seeing you and concert:]]

Dublin is soooooooo CUTE!!! What an adorable little guy!! He is so cute that he almost looks like a toy. I laughed when you said that you hoped that he wasn't too much of a terror. He was looking around so sweet and innocent that it is hard to think of him being mischevious. hahaha.

What a year 2008 was! David Cook, I have never in my life acted like such a kid! This was the first time I was glued to American Idol. I sat on my couch with my 27 yr old daughter every night to watch what you would do next and even had sore fingers the next day from voting for you! And it was all your fault!!! The way you took hold of each of those songs and made them your own! You are the total package!!! Your strength, your faith & belief in your family, how well you handle yourself and even the way you handled Simon! You are incredible! I bought your CD as a Christmas present for myself hoping it would arrive in time for Christmas. (I bought it from Walmart online a few days before Christmas.) As my luck would have it, the weather was bad from where it was coming from & the UPS tracking screen said they had to re-schedule the delivery for the day after Christmas! I was disappointed, but I understood...but low & behold! When I returned home from dining out Christmas Eve it was sitting on my front porch! You better believe this country girl was whooping & hollering like a crazy kid! I LOVE THIS CD!! Every song is a number one!!! May God Bless you & your family! I bought myself your album for my kids to give me for Christmas ... they were thrilled at how thrilled I was to get it. : ) Thanks. : ) My husband then gave me an ipod w/all your songs loaded for Christmas (including American Idol) . It was a really nice holiday. Just picked everyone up for school and prior to homework we all have snack and listen to David Cook! (haha you're probably thinking that at 25 you totally just cant relate ... oh well, fans come in all shapes and sizes).
