I am hesitant to say this, because I don't want to start any fighting, but there is something I have to say. I think we on the DC fansites should really reflect on our own posting behavior, and take a close look as to whether or not we are actually enabling the stalking.
Yes, we can have a thread like this one where we strongly condemn what we feel is deviant behavior. We can congratulate each other when we respectfully interact with David when we are lucky enough to meet him.

I have been wondering this since Light On was released and the fandom was rather split on it. I messaged David about it, but clearly this is a better forum for the question. Also, I'd like to expand it to be broader, to include such things as fan criticism of the current tour:
