I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...in the time of over indulgent music companies that only want a profit they have forgotten the about the real thing called a "Songwriter". I have been a songwriter and musician for 30 years and I had thought that nothing good would ever happen again in the music industry.

Now you have to thank American Idol for that as David may have not ever have been found while he was bar-tending and playing live at the same bar just to keep up his chops and trying to be the next band found.

David is an excellent singer and songwriter and is true to his craft, something most of the wanna bee's have forgotten about along the way. While the 90's were filled with Cobain heads and lame music for us all to endure it is now time to hear melody in music without angst and hatred to all. David is a breath of fresh air to Rock and what you see is what you get a defined singer/songwriter with the intent to lure his audiences in with great lyrics and powerful melodic progressions with catchy hooks that has long been a dying art in the music business.

Everyone has an opinion but until you have written songs and played for people then really you are just another fan. I on the other hand am proud to hear his music and that he did not have to have a company write it for him. That takes talent and dedication that will take him to the limelight of sold out arenas in his very near future!

Rock on David and continue to make the music world turn it's head! And I am also glad that you won the American Idol completion as you will be the only one I will ever remember anyway because you earned it and blew everyone else off the stage!!
