    Especially points # 3 &4. Because, I believe if you're going to do something, do it right. Give it your all, everything you've got... Life is too short not to give it your best! And DC always does... he gives us his all.

    Excellent observations, Urg! Thanks for pointing out the parallels - love the symmetry of this whole ride... parallels everywhere, around every corner, in every rainbow....hmmmmm?, Indeed.

    I'm with you, hope DC can get some time back at the beach - peace & reflection is a vital tool at this juncture of the road. I'm really hoping he can sit a while, breathe, and meditate...And, IMHO, there's no better place than the beach for that! Smiling Would love to see those adjectives stated in reverse order...Smiling

    Thanks so much for the wonderful blog and email responses. Your presence was the missing ingredient around here! And it's good to know the WebNerds are on the job, working on the little glitches and improving the technical aspects of the site. I love the way you make the time to interact with all of us and keep us posted on what's going on with you! But, seriously, blogging at 3:40 a.m.?

  • The awakening...to the musical ride of my life!

    I was just the casual watcher of AI, had not felt inclined to pick up the phone and vote since Season 5, Chris Daughtry. And Season 6, thought it was ridiculous. I wasn't even going to watch Season 7. Just about lost all interest.

    Fast forward...January 2008.. walking from room to room doing laundry, hubby has Idol on, (LOAP audition week - & I love Bon Jovi). I heard it and came flying from the other room...
