I would really like to see all the bonus tracks listed here with the lyrics and the ability to rate them. I actually love all of the bonus tracks just as much as the regular tracks.

Kudos putting this up. While most of us have had the Record for some time now, it might work better for the new folks if they could also hear a snippet of each of the songs. Just a suggestion.

to me personally...the song reminds me of another person who didn't let the words get the best of him; that little boy in a manger that found himself in his late twenties/early thirties have people scream at him (screams that were mostly negative during his time alive on earth; screams of insult "who do you think you are?" but also screams of desperation "please help my unbelief"). And he's still hearing and answering the screams of those who call out to Him in the cities, in the world....

I love the song Mr.Sensitive but it has really confused me and I wanted to ask if anyone knew what it ment....and say that I truly LOVE this record!

One of the best CD's ever. All the songs are original and inspiring. I cannot pick which is my favorite but Permanent speaks to my heart best. Outstanding!

I really like the songs, the melodies, and lyrics. David's style of singing is very appealing and relatable to all. My only suggestion for david if he see's this is to please, please include the lyrics with CD. It really helps me learn the songs better. Maybe on your next album. Otherwise, this CD is a keeper.

This album, to me, is amazing. It's not just a cd with songs on it, it feels like David's in there, in a way. I can feel his soul speaking in the songs perfectly. He did a wonderful job.

I've been an American Idol fan since season 2. I've loved many albums by former contestants, but I've also been disappointed by those whose albums didn't sound like their work on the show. I didn't like thinking, "Hey, that's not what I voted for." I was a bit worried that I may have given myself Titanic syndrome for David's album - that is that I set my expectations so high it couldn't possibly live up to it. I'm happy to say that it lived up to my expectations and gets better each time I hear it because I hear a different nuance each time. The entire album could be Permanent, and I would feel blessed to own it. David, your a good little brother and a good big brother. Thanks for sharing your heart with the world.

I think the album is awesome! I have had it since the day it came out but am a new member to the site. I really like all the songs and think David did a great job on his first album. I can't wait for the tour!!!

It would have to be the best CD since Daughtry.Keep up the great work. I listen to each song everyday. I can relate each song to stuff that has happend in my life. I love the CD. And I love you! Can't wait for the next album.

After having done reviews for all the tracks in DCTR, I can say this loud and say this proud: DCTR is the one album that will not dissappoint. In fact, it's the record that absolutely forbids you to press the Skip button the moment you play it in your CD player!!

Pretty sure I've never owned a full album where I'd rate each song 5+++. There is so much passion and meaning in your voice and in the music from the band, the listener can't help but feel every single word. Nice!

I just wanted to say that I really love this album. I have listened to it several times and I love every song! The words and music on each song make me feel the passion and emotion that is there. David, I still love all the songs that you did on American Idol. Your choices are always songs that I like and you do them so well. Keep doing what you do best!!

It takes someone pretty awesome to put out an album with real quality songs- they are all amazing, and I have a different favourite everyday. (Today I'm likin' me some bar-ba-sol) Best album ever- definitely my favourite of yours so far

when i first thought about this album, i thought it would be more like on american idol. which is weird b/c the songs on ai are from others but anyway, this album is the most amazing i have ever heard. the only one other than this one that comes close is daughtry. ive listened to this album SO SO SO SO SO SO many times that im afraid im going to ware out the cd! lol. my favs are lie, mr sensitive, and barbasol. but don't get me wrong, i LOVE all of them, but those are only my favs!

This album is one of the best I have ever heard! Rarely do I find an album on which every song is good, usually I skip around a lot, but on this album there isn't a bad or boring song! I am still trying to determine a favorite, guess that is my excuse for listening to it at least once a day. Thank you for creating such an amazing album - I am looking forward to many more to come!

I love this album. I Had my mom buy it for me the day it came out because I'm in college and don't have a car to go and get it. I was so happy to come home just so i could listen to it and now its the only songs I listen to. I love David Cook and his music and his voice it makes me melt to listen to him.

I keep trying to put on other music but my 7 year old won't let me stop listening. I think your CD is the only CD I have played the entire month of December, except for The Story Thus Far and Analog Heart which I could only listen to at work be cause Juliana won't let me listen to anything but DC in the car! She sings along with every tune!!! She continually asked to here "that song that says 'I'm Still Standing' cause it reminds me of Baby Maggie."

My favorites are Lie, Avalance, Heroes, Permanent and Kiss on the Neck. Although I honestly love it all!

David, this song has left such an indelible mark on my life because, I too, have experienced the pain you speak of in your lyrics. My brother suffered from cancer in which I painfully witnessed every moment until his untimely passing. I don't think anyone can possibly relate to the meaning of your words or expression of longing you share in this poignantly written song. I don't wish anyone to ever be challenged with facing a struggle like this, but I appreciate that a musician can step outside the boundaries and write about something other than falling in and out of love. You wrote about a real fear - not of losing a lover, but the fear of losing our blood. Thank you for capturing the feeling and words I've struggled to express even after five years of losing my brother. May you and Adam have a long life ahead -- together.

This is a great CD. I love every song! David takes each song and makes if full of heart and soul and with his powerful voice gives the meaning to each and every verse.
