All I wanted for Christmas is a new CD from David Cook. I got what I wanted and I made sure my friends all get one too. I don't want anything else thank you. @:).

Seriously, I must of nearly melted my Analog Heart CD and my burned AI songs from the season. I can't get enough. I admit it, I am addicted. If this is a new disease, I am happy to spread it everywhere.

This CD speaks volumes for itself and our David of coarse. Listening to it give us a special window into Davids world. I personally have found alot of comfort in Davids wonderful lyrics and musicality. His voice is that of an angel. If your having a lousy day, just stick any of his CDs into your player and allow your heart to smile. Believe me it will.

Wake up and listen to his music, your sure to have a perfect day.

Now that I've heard the 30 second clips of each song, I can definitively say that each song on the album is amazing (like I knew they would be). Really, this album is awesome and I cannot wait to hear the entire thing! (Especially Bar-ba-sol, I Did it for You, and Permanent.....they're my favorites so far)

I was just watching some David Blaine videos and then came to this website and was looking at our Davids album cover. Does anyone else see a resembelance of our David to David Blaine on this cover? I think David Blaine is nice looking but obviously holds no candle to our David.

The songs look like they're going to be great! I heard Declaration on SNL, and I loved it! Of course, I know Light On and Time of My Life are good, but I can't wait until the 18th!

The picture though, I really don't like it so much. I mean, yeah it's good, but if you had gone with the SNL look, like snowbunny said, then yes. You're picture would be amazingful. (:

I like the way you think Starstruck! A duet with Daughtry would be amazing. I just don't know if they would think I was Cheesy? I feel like Daughtry has tried to distance himself from AI a bit. I'm not sure he would be up for all the references that would be made all over again. BUT, I do think as far as voices go...That would be amazing!

Love the music - hate the makeup, undereye liner...not for the metrosexual look. Loved Cookie's "grunge" type look better!

The photo that goes with the single release is really tooo uh... "pretty"???? I hate using that words, but it's the only one that fits that I can think of.

Music is really great. I think he and Daughtry could do one big hit duet!!!!!

i am just t00 excited for the CD of DC to come out this nov. 18. It would really be a hit, that's for sure. The album cover is striking PLUS the songtitles made it more striking!...can't wait listen to it all...you r0ck DC!!!

Interesting name. Thats shaving cream isn't it? Hummmm. I'm intrigued. The cover looks good, but I like him more all nat-ur-al! Maybe a sexy little smirk woul've been nice. It will be great no matter what the cover looks like. Go David!! "Light on" is real catchy, I'm singing it while I'm cleaning, shopping, & cooking.( to name a few.) Can't wait!

Why - you may well ask? Here in the UK, a new series of The X Factor has just started - it is I am afraid to say a sort of dummed down version of AI- that alone annoys me because the whole thing started in Britain anyway with Pop Idol- but enough I digress. Simon actually had the timerity to have a singer called Austin do Billie Jean - in a ghastly attempt to look like David!!! NO . NO . NO!!!! I am just furious with him. He attempted to pass it off as original on an unsuspecting British public! Thankfully, one of the other judges- with whom I do not usually agree - pointed out that it had already been done by David on AI and implied that our man Austin had not a hope of being as good- absolutely obvious!!!! How on earth can Simon do this? I have always respected him and thought he had a good heart - but now I really question his integrity. I e- mailed the X Factor site and complained bitterly and I urge all UK fans of David to do the same!!!!

there is something so intensly beautiful about the cover,
so uniqe, it is simple in away but with that also so strong and it has such a big impact on people who see it.since i've seen the album cover a while now every time i see it im amazed of how incredibly genius it is.
the washed out look of it ,it has so much added value.
the colors are so appealing and it has so much artistic value to it,with the colors white and black and the gray aspect (which i adore) and the RED drews so much attention to the name...ohh so wonderfull. and david photo on it is gorgeous of course!
it is really an artisticly beautiful cover and just WOW amazing!

I love everything in that, from the album cover to the songs........ I'm very interested in the song number, 07 Mr. Sensitive. But all the songs are so cool, I can tell.... even without listening to them yet... (And Don't Ask Why)

Your music sounds alternative but its good no doubt about it, the way you deliver the songs is perfect on how it should be.

I am wondering how will you conceptualize your music video on LIGHT ON.. the song itself is moving it feels like carrying you to someplace that is pleasant and peaceful.

David - You are gorgeous. However, I cannot say that the picture you chose for your album cover is one of my favorites. You are so full of life, and this picture is so lifeless. I was hoping you'd let your light shine on the cover of Light On. Perhaps the music inside is as dark and moody as the portrait outside.....? Nevertheless, I love you, I love your music, and I'm so excited that you've produced an album so quickly. Can't wait to hear the whole thing!
