Awesome! I would love to hear that song playing on the radio over the holidays. I hope they sell it on Itunes as well!

Thank you for letting us know.

YES! YES! YES!

I do not know who called, but someone just called in and requested it, and WBMX played it for her!!!!

I was away for several days after this original post, but as far as I could tell they have not been playing it regularly as I had hoped. Everytime I sent in a request in the past few days, they either played LO or TOML instead, or if they were playing Christmas music, they played a different version of Happy Christmas.

But they played it again this morning!

Yes! iTunes song and video for DC's awesome rendition of Happy Christmas would be fantastic!

Really? That is awesome!!

They really should release that live version on Itunes or to radio stations. It was amazingly powerful.

They should! It was beautiful!

I just loved that performance last night. I am so happy it was on the radio already this morning. David and Neal did a fantastic performance. On another site they are referring to David and Neal as the Navid! I love that. They are awesome together.

That is so very cool, they have been playing LO too.

AmI wrong to be ULTRA excited about this?

Ah, that's awesome! I listen to Mix daily. I'll have to keep an ear out (and maybe stop blasting the CD in my car?)

I probably will not be online for the next few days, so I will not be able to give updates. But I have to believe WBMX will start playing it with their other Christmas music.

As a reminder, everyone can request songs from their local stations, by replacing the call letters in the link below.
We never want them to feel like they are being spammed by us, or pester them too much if there is a song they are not playing. But this is one excellent way listeners can let their stations know there is interest in a song:

I just emailed Q100 here in Atlanta to play it, too. I just can't stop listening to it. Neal's guitar added so much to the urgency of the song, and David just hit it out of the park with the vocals.

The more I see of Neal and hear his guitar playing, the more I love him, too. I just see him as a source of musical strength and support to DC in this. Just warms my heart.

They just played the Miley Cirus from last night, too. So they are mixing in last night's performances with other songs this morning, and their usual morning chit-chat.

I have to believe they will keep playing David, as they play a lot of Christmas music throughout the day.

They really should release that live version on Itunes or to radio stations. It was amazingly powerful.

Who else loves the way they replaced the background singers, with the second guitar? It really is a remarkable version of the song, not just because I am such a David Cook fan.

If this station will play it, I have to believe others will play it as well.

Axium "Matter Of Time", My Ultimate Drug For Winter!

Ha, they should, cause it's awesome~

They are showing the wrong song, or no song in the yes.com song log. I guess because the yes does not have it on file. But it was David. They played it at about 7:45 a.m.

I presumed at first they were playing the John Lennon version, and I turned it up to hear the differences. But, no, it was David and Neal!
