David Cook Kicks Off His Tour Tomorrow on Good Morning America!

Catch David Cook on Good Morning America as he kicks off his first nationwide tour tomorrow morning, live from the American Idol Exhibit in Disneyworld at 7 AM on ABC.
David Cook will have a concert here in Manila on May 16, 2009.. I'm so excited to see both David on stage..
I just want to have an idea how much the ticket would be. Can you give a break down of possible ticket cost, please.....
--Hey David, when you do more touring remember to hit Calif. The Santa Barbara Bowl would be a cool place for you play. It's an intimate outdoor venue. Great place for concerts. There's alway the Chumash Casino. It's in the Santa Ynez Valley about 40 miles north of Santa Barbara. Hope to see on tour soon to the west coast

I've been oogling and drooling at the performances that i've seen here and too bad would not have a chance to see him in flesh....
I've been checking out the dates on his tour and none of those says MANILA, PHILIPPINES.... huhuhuhu.... too bad we have to wait for a long time to see him here...
I guess i just have to satisfy my eyes with what i could watch from here.... huhuhu...

Hey! I was actually at the GMA taping and even though I had to get up at 4:30am..it was well worth the sleep deprivation! Yes the New York team had a lot of technical challenges but being a Disney Cast Member, this was a great gift that was given to me! Besides Daughtry, David was the only other Idol that I have ever voted for all 7 seasons and he is amazing in person as he is on TV. I was happy that I was able to get right up to the stage and being next to the speakers didn't even bother me. The only thing that I thought was weird is that I looked around in the area that I was standing in and I seemed to be the only person singing all of his lyrics...truth! Oh well...definately a great performance and I would DEFINATELY go to another show (paying this time of cours)!

WOW, whats up with ABC, GMA and the producers of American Idol?? I saw about two seconds of David's performance when all sound went crazzzy?? And that's it!!?? Here I was so excited to see David, "THE AMERICAN IDOL" kick off his Declaration Tour while introducing American Idol Expo @ Disney...... and after two seconds ALL sound cuts off with no apology or offer to re-broadcast? Shame on all who are responsible! David Cook earned and deserves more respect than that! .......... I'm sure Good Morning America ratings benefitted from David Cook's "NO-GO"performance!!....... That being said, David Babeee.... Im know yOu will be kicking A@@ and rocken worlds tonight ..... right through April 25th in Tulsa!! Just wanted to say a quick good luck to all of you before you head out on the road for the college tew-er. I can't wait to see you in West Virginia on March 16th!!!! I saw the performances from GMA and the ones from the VIP party at the Disney/Idol opening. David, you and Carrie did a great duet. Your voices blended really well. And as for that acoustic version of Light On...........well, that was just gorgeous boys. So anyway, have an awesome time on tour and keep the fun video updates coming!!
ok the coverage of DC on GMA really sucked. For the West Coast feed, we only got to see 2 seconds of Heroes and the whole song of Declaration. We only got one song!! What is that all about? Usually you see about 2 1/2 songs when an artist is on. I think he got a raw deal. I am mad at GMA. He deserves more air play!!!!

I just now checked my GMA tape and I am so pissed it is not even funny. I'm going to write them an email. I've been looking forward to this for a month and their sattlelites mess up and they didn't even try to show him again before they went of, ugh.
Ok, so it sucked that the sound got screwed up during Declaration, but hey, it was Declaration, the Remix!!! LOL I'm so corny!!! At least we got to hear his lil interview and heard a few seconds of Heroes! And now it's available on the internet! So, it's all good!!!

Hey just want to let you guys know that I was just on the Good Morning America website and you can watch David's performance of "Lie". So glad they at least put it up right away. He is so cute. Halfway through the song , the crowd started screaming and he said "thank you". Oh well, happy viewing!
i love love love david cook and i was so excited to see him perform. then stupid GMA sound got all weird and they went to commercial.....then they didn't show him perform in the 2 hrs i set to record GMA cuz ya kno, GMA is 2hrs long....

Could you please put the concert on this website, or give us a link to it? On the East Coast, the sound died during Declaration. Here in Arlington, Virginia/Washington, DC, they never went back to David. We had a local news break, so I cannot tell whether GMA went back to David's concert or not.
The snippet of Heroes sounded great. David was superb in the interview. I'm sorry for the EEB missing out on the chance to expose more people to their music (at least on the East Coast).
What did play was great, so that did show the GMA audience what great artists they are.
Right before one the commercials they cut away to David singing "Heroes". I ~love~ that song, and want to hear the whole thing live. It's the perfect David Cook song for me - his voice soft, loud, emotional - you name it. He kind of "talks" a little of it in the beginning ("and I just need to let you know") with an audible exhale. LOVE it.
"You're still sanding" ---I love the message as well. I can't believe it only has a 4% on the poll.

I hate GMA. The sound sucked. At least I heard half of Declaration and saw the short interview beforehand. David...Lookin good...too too hot. I love the hair when it gets a little long like that. Ok I was reading some of the posts and i read that some one got to see the whold performance of Declaration . Im glad some of got to mine was cut off and didn't say anything about it . So Now its going to be aired on Regis ? The Whole Perfromance at Disney? What time is Regis on in the Morning? Isn't that show on a different station from Good Morning America ? Im Confused how can they run a show thats not even on that network? Can some one please let me know these questions ? Thanks I Appreciate it

I saw the Good Morning America appearance and am now so excited about the potential of seeing David 'Live'. I'm hoping for some California dates, specifically San Francisco. David Cook was one of the rare Idol contestants where very early on, I declared I would pay to see him. Good luck to David, his band, and his management!
I get a little annoyed when the stations interrupt GMA programming for their gazillion commercials and news updates! Did get to see David sing DECLARATION all the way thru. Our Boy looks and sounds great. Best of luck on the tour. Unfortunately I can't get to any shows yet. Come to Las Vegas in the future!!!!!!!
I was so excited to see David and the band this morning. He looked rested, relaxed, excited and ready for the tour. I also noticed while watching the aduience that everyone had the same smile on their faces that I had at home watching the show. So, I've decided that David just might be the cure for "what ails ya." He just makes people smile!!! How amazing is that.
Did everyone get the text message yesterday regarding the tour? I was sorry to say that I wouldn't be going to the tour because TICKETS SOLD OUT IN 6 MINUTES. How nuts is that. We need a bigger venue.

How very disappointing that we were unable to get the live feed from Disney this morning! I hope the ABC/GMA website will have more than just the brief interview available for us to enjoy. Some conversation with Sam came through just fine. Only when he began to sing did it blank out. Not to worry, we'll see it somewhere on the web I'm sure. And then I'm thinking most of us will get to see him on his tour. Woo hoo! He looks so good! YUM!
The last time I was able to catch DC he was preempted by the President. on the Ellen Show.Now, GMA did him in. I was so disappointed. I hope his agent and his other people drive a deal that will get him a renewed nationwide debut for his album and the Americal Idol attraction in FLA. Shame on GMA. They have some work to do, that's for sure.
David, we wish you the best on your upcoming tour !
GMA airs an hour later here in the Central time zone, and the performance of Declaration sounded fine. I'm guessing any audio problems may have just been on the live feed for the East Coast, and they fixed them for the replay. Hopefully someone a little more tech savvy than I am has it recorded and will be able to upload soon, or GMA/ABC will put it on their website. If not, I'll try to figure it out after I get back home later this morning.
