Hi all,
I was fortunate enough to be at David's taping for the WDW Christmas Parade yesterday. (The livejournal pics are mine - I ran out of time before I could post here yesterday, sorry!) It was amazing - David and Neal looked great and dealt with the brutal sun and lights like troopers and had lots of fun along the way! They performed "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" beautifully - can't wait to see the final product on Christmas Day. I'm still on Cloud 9 - definitely an experience I'll never forget!

I like the comments under Tour Guide Mike that said that DC was friendly, sang beautifully live and was amusing. He said that Sarah Brightman didn't make eye contact and didn't sing live.

Well, he certainly jetted out of freezing NYC very fast. . . lucky guy has the opportunity to travel from LA to NY to Disney World. I'm willing to bet the warmer weather will definitely make him feel better (it always does!). The picture of him with Goofy is soooo priceless! I'm jealous! David, can I travel with you? I can fit in your suitcase. . .

Thanks for the great pictures. I just don't understand why there was no publicity about this visit on the site or in the local papers. I do try to keep up and I certainly would have wanted to know that he was here. In fact, I think I did know that he was here, but I didn't know he was performing in the Magic Kingdom. Where are his publicists? There is nothing in the Events folder to tell us about this either. Anyway it is nice to know he was in our "atmosphere" and not the cold of NYC and the far away of Los Angeles. He and Neal both looked fantastic. I hope somebody videoed the performance or I guess I will see it Christmas Day. I want to know what cracked him up. Our favorite side of David, being himself.

Thanks for the pictures. It is great to see them enjoying themselves! I've always liked the Disney Christmas Parade because it is just so darn happy. But, this year it will awesome!

David and Goofy picture is so cute and appropriate. We all know how goofy David can be-whether its crossing his eyes wearing a suit and tie or wearing a blnking rudolph the red nose reindeer nose. He is just too funny.

Ya know, WDW is my favorite place in the world! So it is only fitting that DC is in 'the World' doing his thing! He looked very content up there on that stage!
I should have sent my mom over to the taping for pics. They have season passes and live close to Orlando.

Here is the blog update from the Orlando Sentinel.
This morning's 8 a.m. taping was cancelled, but the noon filming went on as scheduled with David Cook and Sarah Brightman, park guests say. Taping begins tomorrow at 7 a.m. for those with the special tickets. Everyone else must pay admission or have passes to enter at 9 a.m.
Still hoping more surfaces on this fun event. I enjoy these filmings so much. I can't believe I couldn't go this year! With David & NEAL there! ugh.
Edit: I just got a phone call from a friend, who said he was there! Oh, how I hope he got good photos to share with all of us. *drums fingers (im)patiently on desk*
Oh man, David looks great. The one with the guitar and smile is really so sweet. He looks super happy. I'm so happy his buddy Neal is with him. I think I would faint if I saw him waiting to get on a ride or just hanging out. I hope he got to do that without too much attention. Yeah, David and Neal would be some really cool pirates!
I am so glad that David Cook got the opportunity to perform on Walt Disney Christmas Parade on Christmas Day, which makes me very happy for Cookie. Cookie looks totally drop dead gorgeous in those photos. I love it when Cookie smiles big it makes me very happy.
