Yes, the rumors you have been hearing are true. David was recently in Indiana to film ABC’s Extreme Makeover home edition. The episode is tentatively scheduled for January of 2010. David thoroughly enjoyed the experience - More details to come!

EW.com just did a cool write –up about Carrie Underwood’s upcoming Holiday Special, which will feature David in songs and skits. Pretty awesome, if only for the classic video they posted along with it. David Cook's "The Time of My Life" single won 'Song of the Year' at the 2009 Nashville Music Awards held October 7th, 2009. The song won the American Idol Songwriter Contest held online on Americanidol.com from thousands of entrants. Billboard has declared it "...one of the longest-running chart-toppers by a solo male artist in AC history." The hit single written by Regie Hamm has joined the ranks of select Nashville-penned songs that have achieved remarkable success at the #1 spot, including Elvis' "Heartbreak Hotel" in 1956.
