My Reviews & Blog

  • Today is a big day in David-land. I wrote a haiku about it in the haiku thread and then got carried away and wrote two more poems that didn't belong there! So I moved them here.

    DCO, I miss you
My time is short, my interest high
Catch up? It's futile to try

    Warm and yet strange,
    The tug on my heart
I know not one of you
    Yet feel such a part
    Of everything here,
Though my posts may be few
    My heart does go out
    To each of you

    David, what have you done?
Given me pause amidst my life?
My days of the mundane, flooded with light?

  • These past few days thoughts and prayers for you and your family have been a part of each day. My hope is that you and your family will feel the palpable collective support of all of those in your life, including us, your fans, as we seek to buoy you in whatever way we can, and seek to take what is a tragedy and make something good, something purposeful, and something hopeful, rise out of the ashes. God Bless you and peace be with you.

  • And we hope you can feel our love and support coming your way! Bless you and your family.

  • Permanent is playing on my i-tunes. How poignant. He's permanent. What about us, his fans? WHY am I seeing blogs, posts, etc. from whom I thought were lifelong fans, saying things like WTF am I doing here? Over a blog post? Honestly? A one paragraph blog post with good intentions??

David, David, David. I know you will never see this but WTF. Don't listen to this stuff. It's the vast minority dude! Almost nil. Just keep on, full speed ahead, don't look anywhere but your heart.

  • Just read your comments on the PB thread from today (3-18) from your sickbed. First off, get better soon! Sick sucks. Secondly, I'm glad I came over to your blog because.... I feel the way you do sometimes, too!

  • Chawan, thanks for your response to my blog..I've now read your blog and really enjoyed it. I am tickled at how on many of these lines we seem to be looking through the same lens. Others, you provide more depth than I. Since you made it so easy by posting line by line the way I did, I am copying it here with my comments. Beating that horse to smitherenes, I know. But so fun.
