Just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I was at Sunfest, David, and I hope, along with the wonderful people you must have met at Race for Hope, the love you got from the crowd at Sunfest serves as some sort of small comfort in the midst of dealing with your loss...a happier memory you can take away from the sadness of that weekend to add to all the happy memories you must have of your brother.

It's a daily anthem, will you sing my song at the top of your lungs, and we'll all sing along....
So turn the radio up loud and get down, let your body move, let your body sway, listen the music play...it's magick.. (Ryan Adams, Magick) -

Also, can we tawk about your surprising encyclopedia-like knowledge of rap music? Ma$e looks a lot...prettier....than I imagined (if you know what I mean.)

It's tough to pick a favorite song, but I can easily say that my favorite portion of the album is the progression from Avalanche to Kiss On The Neck. I just adore all four of those songs for very different reasons, and the emmotional and musical journey from one to the next is really interesting. Since I couldn't vote for more than one, I chose A Daily Anthem because it's the song that can pull me out of a bad mood, and I like the way it speaks to the universality of music.

Clearly Joey has been blessed with a photographic memory....
...or not. Considering Keanu Reeves, Dennis Hopper and The Bus weren't actually IN Speed 2, Joey's description of Free Willy could have been a lot worse. Just sayin, at least he talked about a whale.
