  • David, I just drove 4 hours home from the awesome Sunfest and checked my e-mail. I am shocked and saddened about your brother Adam's passing. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I also appreciate the courage you showed by being at the Race for Hope today. Adam would be so proud of you, as we all are. God bless you and your family,

    Karen

  • David,

I wish you a wonderful, insouciant day.
(yes, I was trying to impress you by using the
    word "insouciant")...

To me, every time you open your mouth and sing is
a gift. Therefore, I receive the best gifts, every day,
just by listening to your music.

On your 26th birthday, I hope you receive the
gifts that bring you the most happiness, or at least
as much happiness as you've brought your fans.

Today I am celebrating YOU: your personality, your
    music, your everything else.

Please know you've impacted many, many people in a positive way,

  • At 6:45 pm on November 20th, I received an e-mail from "People" magazine. This is what
the body of the message said:

    Hi Karen —

Good news: We're running your question for David Cook in the magazine!

We just wanted to double-check the spelling of your name and hometown.
    Is this correct:

    Karen Chaudhry, Jacksonville, Fla.

    ?

Also, please let us know if you prefer us to use just your first name,
your first name and last initial, or your whole name.

If you could get back to us ASAP, that would be great. We are closing

  • Every time I see someone now with spiky / dyed hair and tattoos, I don't judge them as rebellious, wild or risky anymore. I now think, "that could be another David Cook." I think he changed the image of a rocker for most. He has his college degree, is good to his family, and isn't afraid to show his sensitive side by displaying his emotions when he feels them.
