  • Vegas Jordan, i'm happyredpanda in youtube, you commented on the Mr. Sensitive video that I posted, OMG, so this is the story behind all that! I'm getting teary, and I laughed and chuckled as I read this. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. What an experience! I truly hope you beat this MS, sending you positive thoughts and prayers all the way from Manila. *hugs*

  • Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us, Shell. I can't wait to watch this special. Getting to see some of my favorites from SYTYCD is a very pleasant bonus! Smiling

  • Am going through our old DC thread in PEx (because we've gone on to a new one, am updating the 1st page), and came across a post I did when we found out Joey Clement was leaving the band:

No more headbands, no more curls
No more kicks and locks unfurled
    No more bad film reviews
    No more clapping cues
    No more Joey
    No more roo
    `Tis an awful verse
    As we bid "Adieu"
Joey Clement, we'll miss your bass

  • I love the darkness in Tiemann. And when added to Cook's strange, appealing mix of sarcasm, irony, and sentimentality, bam! we've got something like Anodyne and Kiss on the Neck. Am positively drooling over the prospect of an all-Cookmann 2nd album.

Where we be, we've come so far
Where did I go astray from you?

When they put me in the ground, I want you to be there waiting
With your hands just as cold as mine, we could rest for a while

  • I hope Dave got to sample the guitar already. I like imagining him playing it and singing The Truth. *siiiiigh* The thought of it hanging on the wall in his home is making me tear up again (and I had just come from reading Part 2 of your blog, where I said I was tearing up, tsk tsk...)

As I said before, you make us proud, G! We're still all so elated about this experience you had. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.

    ETA.

  • Some of us Cookistas already heard the story from you, G, but reading your experience like this still makes me very happy, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that you make us proud. Aww now I'm tearing up, remembering all the sleepless nights, the fatigue, the excitement during that entire week David was in Manila. (But huh, come to think of it, we still do have sleepness nights up to now, things haven't changed LOL.)
