David Cook - your performance on American Idol was so beautifully touching. You are such a wonderful example of what our young people should be. What a great role model you are. I knew when you won last year that there was something so much bigger that you will represent. Your music is beautiful and heartfelt - but your sole is a true gift. How someone so young can have so much is beyond me. When I think of an American Idol - it is not just someone who can sing and sell records - but someone that has a higher purpose than just promoting themselves.

David - just wanted to extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family - you will be in my prayers. Your presence at the Race for Hope in light of your personal tragedy was so courageous and must have brought so much hope to everyone. Your team raised over $98,000.00. I said when you won American Idol you would do so much more than just sing beautiful songs. You are truly the most amazing person and I wish nothing but the best for you and your family. God bless you. As a cancer survivor myself...I saw how my family hurt for me - Hug your Mom for me. xo

David - thank you for the blog - best of luck to you on your tour. I hope they are all sold out. I was almost at one - I live near one of the venues you will be playing in - had the phone in my hand to call for tickets and remembered - I'm on a cruise that week - my first ever. But I have my girls representing me. My daughters are going to the show - they promised to hold up a poster that says "this cougar loves you - but had to take a cruise with her husband". So you have fun. I hope I can catch a show the next time around. I'll be a fan for life. God bless. Judy Fitz

The American Idol
David - I saw a youtube where you said there is room for Adam and Kris you just hope there is still room for you - no worries at all. As far as I am concerned - I like both those new guys - but you are the only American Idol I have ever followed and cared about. There is no one like you - the person you are - then add the music and your personality and your causes you fight for. You're the best. You will have a long career and I will follow it all the way.
