David Cook took everyone by storm last May when he was chosen as the new American Idol. At first I was unsure that America had got it right when I heard the results. Don't get me wrong, David Archuleta is a good kid and a great singer. I was unsure that Mr. Cook had won the night. I was so sure that Archie was going to pull it off. But after going back and listening to both David's sing again, it could have gone either way.
I am trilled that David Cook has embraced his new roll as the new American Idol and I am sure that he will have much sucess in the years to come.
So David Cook, I salute you and wish you nothing but the best. David Cook is going to be a great American Idol!

Happy Birthday David!
Well you can't ask for a better year David. You made great friends on Idol, you made it into the top ten, but the iceing on the cake was winning the show. How can it get any better then that?Well I hope this year is even better and that your album goes gold soon. Enjoy your big day with your family, your friends, and if your still going around with Kim Caldwell, great. Maybe, the next big thing for you is wedding bells! Just a thought David! Have a great day!
