It's almost difficult to put into succinct words why I'm a fan of David Cook; one could even say it's a myriad of different reasons and attributes as to how he stands out as artist of his craft. One clear cut assertion I can make is that whenever you hear his music, you can identify him without a shadow of a doubt: his powerful vocal, the resonating, rich sound and texture that's both mercurial and engaging, and even through the careful articulation he places into crafting his lyrics. These attributes, among many, usually define artists that resonate with me, but David takes this one step further with a charming personality and a wit that's hard to resist, as a musician and as an individual. I think David will go very far in the music industry in the years to come, and I certainly wish him all the best in his endeavors.
