Flashback to Thanksgiving for me, if you would. I was sick as a dog with a stomach virus. I had stuff coming from every crevice of my body (TMI, so sorry!). My husband was so worried that he finally talked me into going to the hospital (who's stubborn??Not me! That is a big HA!) and once there they did a battery of tests on me including an ultrasound. I truly could have cared less though as they had me on two rounds of Morphine for the pain. I could have had Freddy Krueger there stabbing away and I'd have been like, "Whaaat's up Fredmeister?" Anyway, I digress (as usual!).. after the tests were done and everything came back normal, the doctor walked back in and said, "Oh, by the way, your pregnancy test was positive." I was seriously slow on the uptake because I said, "What did you just say?" My husband almost passed out and my two sisters were speechless (which trust me, NEVER happens.. ahem).. my hubby and I have been married for almost 8 years and have never taken precaution for pregnancy and have been "trying" for a couple of years but we honestly thought we wouldn't be blessed with children. I guess God had a different plan though because I am due August 3rd. I still can't believe it.. even though the Morhpine has long worn off. So please say a prayer for me if you would.. I keep kidding with my friends that my childs first words will probably be "David Cook."
