Ok, I'm still recovering from the big *poof* that happened last night after after a few hours of putting thoughts, photos, and videos together. I'll do it in parts this time.

First of all, I have the coolest Hubby ever. Come on...a weekend stay at the Beau Rivage, and tickets to see David and the band on Valentines day...I'm starting to think that guy likes me.

Right off the bat, we run into Neal. He's coming up from the bus parking lot, we're coming up from the ordinary-people-who-don't-play-kick-butt-guitar-in-a-rock-band parking lot. Hubby sees my face and asks if that is one of the guys in the band, still a bit gobsmacked I nodded. He encouraged me to go talk to him and I said no. I knew I would regret it but I just felt uncomfortable approaching him knowing that his free "normal" time is probably getting to be less and less. I quickly changed my mind after watching him hold the door open for about 15 little old ladies, smiling and nodding at each one as they passed. Picture this please: tattooed,... pierced.....Neal, being so gallant and patient while all of those ladies very slowly walked by. (Yep, it was pretty darn cute) Most of the ladies smiled sweetly...a few of them clutched their purses a little tighter. Whoever raised that guy should be darn proud. I waited until he was done doing his chivalrous duty and decided to go for it. I do the proverbial, hey Neal how are you,...I don't want to bother you but..., if you don't mind would you....(insert bumbling). Asked if he didn't mind a photo, he said, "Oh yeah, of course." I went and stood next to him...oh HELLo...he put his arm around my shoulder...what a stinking nice guy (insert blushing). Hubby got out the camera and Neal and I chatted a bit (still posed for the photo) about the night before (Tall. tour kick off). I asked how it went and he said, "It was great. Believe it or not we're all rested up, pumped and ready for tonight." (Insert my Busted girls snerky comments here). HOLY COW....I remembered something...frick! frick! frick! I didn't have any d*mn make up on! We left the house and I figured, WHY bother putting my face on and doing my hair if I'm just going to have to do it again before the show...? Well THIS is why genius! I've been talking to Neal, my face 8 inches from his face with no flipping make up on and "I-just-traveled-in-the-car-for-2-hours" hair. Fabulous. Just fricking fabulous. Well, what are you gonna do?.... You smile and take the picture I guess.

Hope I didn't scare the cr*p out of him...ugh.

We chatted another second, we thanked him and told him we'd be there at the show. He said great...thanks...see you there. That was it. Such a nice guy. Hubby thought he was cool. I couldn't wait to see him tear it up at the show.
Pretty awesome start to the weekend...
