David Cook: He can make a Sunday Sermon sound good.

Back in February, I gave a talk at a church in Greeley, CO, and used Dabid Cook's openhearted love as an example to aspire to. If you want to listen, here's the sendspace link. It's a 35 minute talk, but I use most of my David stuff in the first 10 minutes.

I finally got around to listening to the sermon you posted, and it was wonderful.
I am not a religious person, but I am always accepting of those who speak of love and inspiration.
Your talk, especially the things you say about David, had my David related tears falling yet again.
You're right, David being David is what draws us in and his openness and willingness to let us in, and to see ourselves in him is what keeps us here. Always wanting to be closer to him.

Wow

Just had the chance to listen to your talk in Greeley - beautiful. Wish we had a church similar to yours in the area. And I'm going to look for that book. Thanks for sharing!

You're address was a delight to listen to. Your voice is so calm, and caring. I listened three times. Thank you so much for sharing.

I love this. It is so true Smiling

I was in Fresno on July 3 2008. And I saw him. Very far away. But it pwned
I wasn't able to scream for weeks afterward. And my throat didn't stop hurting for a month

Thank you so much for trimming this out and sharing it here. You have a beautiful and very soothing voice. I love the crowds reaction when you first bring up David.
