I went backwards from week 7 and youtubing DC to play catch up, to get on the Cookie train. And I have a good friend to thank for pointing me in DC's direction. *Thank you ROO*
It's been astonishing and wonderful to watch DC grow from the guy who sang LOAP at his audition, to the guy standing on the stage in Tulsa with his 9 best friends on Sept. 13th. Even now he's changed yet again and it's fabulous.
I have never been so invested in a musician before. I had my moments with Duran Duran and Bon Jovi, but nothing like this. No singer has ever made me LIVE the music before, the way David does. And I'm ever so grateful to him for letting me tag along on his journey to stardom. Because David Cook is going to be a superstar in the music world. Of that I have no doubt.
And I'm going to be there to watch him do it. To watch him do more and more with his amazing voice and his wonderful choices and I will totally be invested in the story he has to tell me with each song and each, progressive, album.
WTF!Cook makes or breaks my day and I wouldn't have it any other way.
