DAVID COOK - track by track review!

1) Declaration - An amazing way to start off the album, start it with a boom. Definitely a highlight of the album, his newest single I believe? Besides Light On. I think this might be his best all around song, a solid performance from David!

2) Heroes - Another rock vibe type of song. I'm glad he's sticking to his roots and not letting the mainstream effect his music, another great song.

3) Light On - The addicting single, that got us listening (besides "American Idol", of course) A solid choice for a first single, and fits the flow of the album perfectly, I'd say it's one of the more slow rocking songs.

4) Come Back To Me - Amazing song. Definitely the first slow song, the lyrics are well written and good way to start the ballad effect of the album.

5) Life On The Moon - An instant favorite of mine from the very first time I heard it. After the semi-ballad in "Come Back To Me" David comes back to the rocker tone, and does not disappoint.

6) Bar-Ba-Sol - My favorite song on the album, the most hardcore with the grinding guitars and the clenching voice that fits the lyrics perfect. David put a lot of soul into this song, and you can definitely tell when he's bellowing it out of him.

7) Mr. Sensitive - Probably my favorite song, lyrically, off the album. It paints a picture in your mind, sometimes those can lead to be your instant favorites, but this song doesn't compare to his hardcore grinding down songs. Still an amazing song.

Cool Lie - Wow, we're eight tracks in and David has yet to let us down yet. This song keeps the album going with the rock vibe and does it well.

9) I Did It For You - I think this song is another semi-ballad only because it doesn't set the fast pace that we've been used to so far, but another great song.

10) Avalanche - Another amazing song! I can't believe this album is so stacked song wise.

11) Permanent - Here we go! The perfect album to kind of finish off the rocking album. A perfect way to kind of end it before the last two songs.

12) A Daily Anthem - A fully David written song, but I've got a question. Is it 15:00 minutes long on everyone's CD? Or is it a glitch in mine? Oh well, either way it's amazing.

13) The Time Of My Life - Finale to American Idol, great way to finish off his reign on A.I and set him into the music industry!

All together, this album is basically perfect, with very little flaws. Way to go David! Rock on!
