So, I was thinking. Maybe they are going for a storyline with the singles. It goes a bit like this.

(1) He meets the girl, and gives into love, having, indeed, the time of his life. = Magic Rainbow

(2) However, well, he can't just stay at home all the time. No, he has to go back on the road, but he still loves her, so he asks her to keep a light on for him. = Zenny

(3) Crap. She's not down with that whole "hanging out, waiting, with light on" thing. So he goes off, gets drunk, ends up with a bloody nose and missing his keys, but yes, he knows just what he did to deserve this. = BBS

(4) Okay. He's sobered up. Maybe if he displays some more attributes of the good boyfriend by displaying utter devotion and making odes to the wind in her hair and such, she'll come back to him. = Windy

Where might the storyline go from there? Some choices.

(a) Mad passionate sex with the girl? Or some other girl? Whomever it is, he feels alive beside her. = Avalanche (Snowy?); or

(b) He's getting a bit frustrated. He'll take her just the way she is, and he's declaring to anyone who will listen that she's his inspiration, but he's beginning to wonder: Will he ever be enough? = Declaration aka Thomas; or

(c) Dammit. Everything that he did, he did it for her. Dammit. = IDIFY = Diddy = Yo Fault = Fo Yo; or

(d) Yay! She's back! All these heroes come and go, but she's still standing! = Heroes aka Mel or SportyCook; or

(e) He feels all alone in this crowded room and needs her now more than ever. = LotM (Moony?); or

(f) Well, they tried to make it work, but he knows that it's going to come to an end. There's this storm in her eyes, he's seen coming for a while. But he wants them to stay in the dark one more night.... = Lie; or

(g) So, he spent all this time screaming her name and such, and the townspeople got angry and threw sticks and stones and bones at him. = Mr. S; or

(h) He's feeling all cynical about love and women, and is at a bar sneering at one in particular, but then, she kisses him on the neck, and there you go. His backbone is stuffed in her purse. = KotN.
