Don't Tell Me Lies

I gave you all that I could
I gave you more than I should

Your heart turned small
And you built your walls
Till I couldn’t see you at all
No sound, no voice, no eyes

Don’t tell me lies
They hurt me to the core
Don’t tell me lies
I can’t feel anymore

Don’t tell me lies
You need to see the truth
Don’t tell me lies
It’s right in front of you

Now you walk along a lonely road
While I ‘m still left with the pain
I fear in my heart
I will never know you again

You built your walls
Till I couldn’t see you at all
No sound, no voice, no eyes

Don’t tell me lies
They hurt me to the core
Don’t tell me lies
I can’t feel anymore

Don’t tell me lies
You need to see the truth
Don’t tell me lies
It’s right in front of you

Now you walk a lonely
Beaten road
Torn down
Afraid
I fear in my soul
Your heart will not remain
