So it finally happened! I finally heard "Light On" on the radio this weekend. I was laying in bed, I had a early case of the flu and my best friend sent me a text telling me that David was on our local radio station. Now keep in mind, my two best friends aren't really David fans, but they know how much I adore him, so they've been on the look out; I've got them so well trained. Anyway, I had no energy and didn't bother getting out of bed, I laid there for about a minute before I realized that maybe she meant his new single! So I ran out of my bedroom, across my apartment and into my bathroom (which was the last place I left my iPod player) to turn on the radio. Low and behold, "Light On"! I was so emotional, it was insane. I was ill and obviously weak, tired, etc, but while I was standing there in the dark room in my pjs, the moment was just perfect. I won't lie - I got a little teary eyed. Well, that was on Saturday. I have been listening to that radio station since then and haven't heard anything but today, while I was streaming the station live from work (I was trying to win NKOTB tickets!!) they played him! It was perfect, maybe my day better, especially considering I didn't win the NKOTB tickets!
