Four months??

Someone pointed out to me that today is September 21, which means David won AI four months ago today. Seriously? It's been four months already? Considering the fact that my summer went something like this....
May 21: David wins.
May 22-July 17: Will my concert date EVER get here?
July 18: OMG, the man is amazing live.
July 19-27: I should really go to Tulsa.
July 28: Bought airfare for Tulsa.
July 29-September 11: Will my concert date EVER get here?
September 12: OMG OMG OMG I'm in Tulsa!!
September 13: The man redefines Time of My Life once again.
September 14-18: It's OVER?? No tour? No Mavid??
September 19-21: New single? Yes, please!!
...it's really really hard to believe four months have passed. It's really really REALLY hard to believe we'll have THE record in our hot little hands three days before the six month anniversary of his win.
It's been a hell of a year, Word Nerds. Thanks for everything.

This summer really has flown by ...
It's already football season, and hockey season is coming up. I don't think I've mentioned this, but I work part-time for the Thrashers; going back every year around this time is kind of like going back to school, you know? Everybody gets caught up on what they did over the summer, and whatnot. Last year, my summer vacation story was that I went to Paris; this year, it's that I saw David Cook and I bought a house! Crazy, hmm?
