I interviewed David Cook (sort of)!
At 6:45 pm on November 20th, I received an e-mail from "People" magazine. This is what
the body of the message said:
---------------------------------
Hi Karen —
Good news: We're running your question for David Cook in the magazine!
We just wanted to double-check the spelling of your name and hometown.
Is this correct:
Karen Chaudhry, Jacksonville, Fla.
?
Also, please let us know if you prefer us to use just your first name,
your first name and last initial, or your whole name.
If you could get back to us ASAP, that would be great. We are closing
this story first thing Friday morning EST.
Thanks, and looking forward to hearing from you!

I submitted 3 questions online for this fan interview.
I'm not sure which question they chose. I asked two about his music, and
one about romance. Let me guess - they chose the romantic one.
That is sure to make him blush. Hee-hee-hee.
Wonder what else fans wanted to know? Can't wait to find out. The magazine, with David's interview from fans, hits newsstands this Friday. Pick up a copy...or twenty!
I bought his amazing CD on Tuesday, the day it came out. Of course. I went to Wal-Mart after work. In line behind me was a big, burly Harley Davidson type guy. The dude saw my CD. "David Cook! I love David Cook!" he raved. We had a nice 10-minute conversation about David and his music. The burly guy's favorite David song is... "Hello!" He said, "If I had known the CD came out today, I would bought a copy." Then he said he was going to go home and download the CD online. He was so enthusiastic, I know he did.
At work, I convinced people to buy David's CD. Not that they had to be overly convinced. They all love him. I miss those Wednesdays when everybody at work would stand around and discuss the "American Idol" Tuesday night performances. Everybody - and I mean everybody - wanted David Cook to win from the get-go. We all voted for him religiously. I say "religiously" because I work in a church!
Today I bought a second copy of David's CD for my mom for Christmas. Like David said, it's the perfect stocking stuffer. She adores him too. Yes, good taste runs in my family.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,
Karen
