Yes, after almost 7 months of being here on DCO, it´s time to introduce myself.
I was born in Los Angeles, California a long time ago... and I lived there with my family until I was 9 years old. My father (an american native), didn´t want to live in the States anymore and moved with his Mexican wife to Mexico. I grew up here, studied here and got married to a wonderful man, raised 4 kids.... and almost forgot my roots and my language. Until last year...
It been a trip!!!
It began with a spring family vacation in April. I had already seen David on AI, and wasn´t very hopeful he would win (I never liked Taylor Hicks!!!) and since I couldn't vote... whatever...This family vacation started in California and it hit me there : my memories, my scents, my language, my life, the one I hadn't remembered... And then again David... in Vegas I almost fainted to see him on a billboard on the Venetian (A. L. Webber week) ...I was so happy and my husband and kids gave me the first WTF look in my life. Yes the first. I'm a psychologist and I'm not expected to go NUTS for a 25 year old (now 26) rocker I don't even know!!!
Following David Cook has allowed me to start my reintoduction to my citizenship. To love the country I began to love as a child. To remember my language. To be in touch with such wonderful people here on DCO.
Well I don't know if this is a good introduction, but God knows my life has changed in so many ways that I can't recognize myself!!!
It's the first time in my whole life I'm expecting to go soon to a live concert!!! And I'm so happy about the chance of doing it!!!
