While watching the video of David making Light On, I'm reminded why I adore him so much. (as if I even need a reminder.. he's brilliant in every way!)

*He is so focused on making the song the best it can be and it shows.
*He sounds so amazing.
*Him chewing gum makes my insides quiver.. (I'm sick, I think we've established this already, so shut up!)
*His vulnerability is human, and makes him so real to me. I mean, I know he's real, but seeing him on American Idol and then on tour tends to make him seem so out of reach. Seeing him vulnerable takes all the hype away and just leaves David raw and REAL!
*Him riding the skateboard in his boots just makes me giggle..

and lastly, just seeing him smile and doing what he loves makes me happy! I want him happy.. I want him to be able to make his music and share it with us fans.. he's an amazing man and I feel blessed to have watched his journey and have a small place in his life.. no matter if it is from far away. He's a part of my heart always.
