Need help like WHOA!!!
From my LJ
Ok, yesterday I posted that I needed help culling out some of my concert pics for the charity photobook that is currently being worked on. I actually MISSED being able to submit pictures for the Toad's Place and Kean University concerts (she finished the pages and deleted the submissions before I even realized the pages were being worked on). HOWEVER, I am going to be putting together a book of my own, using JUST my pics from all the concerts I've been/am going to see this tour. A few of the concerts will be no trouble in choosing pics because I either didn't take very many or the ones I did take were really BLEGH with only one or two decent ones.
My problem is THIS. There are quite a number of concerts where I went a little nuts taking pics and I am now having trouble thinning down the number of pics to include. I'd LOVE to get other fans input on what THEIR favorites are. Blurb.com allows you to make your books either public or private once you've submitted them. If there is enough interest in MY book, I can make it public and people can go and buy a copy for themselves. Below, there will be a list of Flickr photo sets that I need some input on. If you could take a bit, click the link and look through the pics? When you come across one you just LOVE, if you would comment BOOK IT, that would really help me out (you can make ADDITIONAL comments if you like, BOOK IT will probably become a tag for me). Thanks so much. Here we go. In order of attendance, but by no means the complete list of concerts I've been to:
Westminster College
The Ameristar
Tulsa U.
Common Ground
Sunfest
NYU
Pearl Street
Toad's Place (THIS is a biggie, 213 pics!)
Patriotic Fest
Cat's Cradle
Red, White & Boom (eep!)
Cain's Ballroom (237 WTF?)
Diamond Ballroom
Winstar (is there even anything WORTH printing here? UGH!)
Simon Estes Riverfront Amphitheater
Orpheum theater
Mystic Lake Casino
Great Jones
Ohio State Fair
Owens Community College
Corn Palace
The Borgata
Kean University
Bloomsburg Fair
Please don't feel like you HAVE to choose a pic in every set. If NONE of the pics strike you, that's FINE! Any and all help will be appreciated. I have lost my objectivity about these pics. AND, I've looked at them all so many times, very few of them seem all that special anymore. The really BIG sets I need to try and get down to AT LEAST small double digit numbers.
As I attend more concerts, I may add more links to the post.
Thanks in advance everyone!

This is for MY book . . .
Hey follia,
This little plea for help is in regards to my own PERSONAL photobook that I"m putting together. Daina (ReallyCookin) is organizing the Charity Book on Flickr.
For MY book, I was just asking some fans to take a minute and go through some of my larger Flickr set and help me narrow down my choices by at LEAST commenting "Book It" in the comment section on the pics they absolutely LOVE. There have been a few pics in some of the sets that have emerged as clear favorites, so they will DEFINITELY be included. Again, this is for my own personal book, NOT the charity book. If there is enough interest in my book, I will make it public on blurb.com so people can buy their own copy.
Any time you can spare would be great. If you only have time for a couple of sets, the biggest ones are Toad's Place, Cain's Ballroom, Diamond Ballroom, Red, White & Bloom and then probably the 3 newest ones, Borgata, Kean and Bloomsburg.
Thanks again hon.

I'm happy to help.
Tell me what you need at this point. I'd like to help. I haven't recapped, or blogged except to comment on something I felt strongly about. I could help go through pics. Not sure how you're organizing this.
Thank You!!!
I saw your comments and thank you for taking the time to give me your thoughts. It's nice knowing what fans like to see in pictures.
I think I"m actually about half and half when it comes to Andy's side or Neal's side. At GA shows, since I am very seldom in the VERY front of the line, I tend to go to wherever I will have the fewest heads and/or arms blocking my view. That SEEMS to be mostly Andy's side for me, although at Carrboro and Tulsa University, I ended up on Neal's side. Of course, at the reserved shows, you take what you can get from good old Ticketbastard
Thanks again hon.

It Was a Tough Job and I Did It
I went through all of your photos and commented on the ones I liked best. You take gorgeous pics!
I was really glad to see the ones from Kean University and Bloomsburg because they were fresh and different. You weren't dead center and you took more body shots. Maybe at an upcoming concert you may even shoot from Neal's side! Like evryone I have a kind of picture I like best, the ones with sparkly eyes. I had to consciously study each photo to determine whether or not I liked it. Hard work, huh? I found scrunchy faces and back sides I loved!
Thanks for taking them for us to enjoy. I'll definitely buy the book!
