Radford and Knoxville

OK, now that I have had a week or so to let everything soak in, I have to say that I admire David and the rest of guys so much more now than ever.

We got tickets to Radford, VA. Got in line around 2 pm. Didn't mind the wait at all!! The weather was gorgeous, everyone around us were very frindly, got a little sun to boot. We ended up about 5th row dead center. GREAT VIEW!! Close enough to see everyone clearly, but back enough to take in the whole show. I had never heard anything from Ryan Star before, but after the show I bought his CD. He was very good and energetic. Must have had a few dozen energy drinks! lol Pycho Suicidal Girl rocked. I think I may know a few of those too. Then what can I say about David's set- It F'n Rocked. So much different and BETTER than the Idol tour. I loved every song he did. I don't think I could pick a favorite, however Hot for Teacher stands out--I mean hot, wet David--'nuff said!! This show solidified my sister as a Cook fan for life. We didn't get to wait after the show, had a 2 1/2 drive home, then about 3 hours of sleep to get until work the next morning.

Then to my surpise, Monday night I get messages about extra tickets to Knoxville. Hell yea!! This time I decide to suprise my daughter also. Her first concert ever! Everyone we encountered was absolutley wonderful, especially to my daughter (she's Cool. We stood through "tropical storm rain", tornado warnings and all. And with only 1 umbrella. But once we walked inside that was a distant memory! Except for the soaked feet. We were front row, directly in front of Andy. L-U-C-K-Y!! Ryan now has a fan in my daughter also. He was so sweet to her. As soon as his set was done, she asked him for a pic, and he stopped right there and posed. That was one of her highlights, and a 8 x 10 in her room. Then David came out,and I thought she was going to hit the floor. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and lipped "Thank you". That made my weekend! That show was in a class of it's own. Radford was great, but words can't even express my thoughts for Knoxville. There were so many awsome moments about the show I couldn't even begin to sum them up. However, David, we don't think you "have something" because Doc wouldn't share your straw!! Anyway, to sum it up, I would like to say Thanks David for a truely amazing week. And for making me the "Best Mom ever" to a little girl
