wouldnt it be nice if I had these in some semblence of order........such is my life.........and by the way my mind is a little fuzzy on the order of the songs and when they did what...but it all happened on the same episode.........so I am allright with that! OMG...I just rewatched this episode...and I seriously have forgotten so much...I guess I should have written this the day I got home!

Same as before 12 squeeling girls and me!

The girls get put in position and my girls are in front again...and we are just dying cause we cant believe we get to hear 3 songs....there was talk that one of Davids songs was going to be American Woman...........I about freaked....could you imagine him doing that number????

Archie sang the Billy Joel song..and really it was amazing..there were no instruments other than his voice and it echoed and touched my heart..it was so pur and sweet...it really was so much better in person....if you look closely at the episode the camera pans the girls after he gets done singing and my daughter is the one wipeing the tears from her face...she was deeply moved by his performance...nahhhh he didnt make me cry...but it was amazing. This is where the girls argued with Simon and told him he was wrong...and he argued back with them...so you are the judges now...and their response was YES! he got such a kick out of their response...they totally stood up to him.....kind of a David moment I think

Skip over Sayesha..........sorry.......I figured out who her fan base is...gay guys...they were all around me and they went wild for her..........They LOVE Sayesha and Paula.

Then David....as you know he did First Time Ever I Saw Your Face....David really seemed very relaxed his entire family was there and I saw his mom stand when he sang the song...she was the only one standing at first...kind of a mom son moment. It was very very sweet...hence the tears on everyones faces.....the room actually echoed when he sang and you could hear a pin drop...you know that moment when he stops singing and yet there is this linger in the air..........it was very powerful....I think Paula was about to slide under her chair....

About this time is the commercial break and the judges usually leave the room ........who knows why...that is pretty lame...but they had such fun exchanges with my girls that Simon invited them up to the desk...I SO WISH THEY LET CAMERAS IN THERE...anyway the girls all went up and hugged Simon, Paula and Randy...they were really nice and let them sit in there chairs...this was the first time ever that they didnt leave the room!!!!!

Archie does a stellar job once again., Sayesha.........ahhhh, nevermind...

David...............so why is it my daughter always gets to talk to him and I dont!!
so he is standing right in front of my daughter and she can hear him running through some chords on the guitar and Cami says...David I know that song!.......she was trying to place it in her mind....and then she announces ...its Swithfoot!...I love Switchfoot....He smiles at her and says good!.....

He goes and sits with Ryan and announces its going to be dare you to move and my girls all squeel...you see Switchfoot is a San Diego band and they play a lot at our battle of the beach band days and at our local record store..so they just love them a lot......and David says...Oh youve heard of them! I think he did a stellar job, the ending notes kind of missed the pitch a bit but, he was amazing.

and I will skip over Archie and Sayesha.

David of course did the big rock ballad....name escapes me...I fill it in later...anyway...the girls start squeeling because they cant believe he is singing that...I was what! no American Woman!..sorry..I already had that vision dancing in my mind....he really did rock the house with that number...and the sound was huge...it filled the entire room with all of the strings...they guy on the guitar was off way loud and off tempo..David was able to still pull it out...it was a huge huge moment for him...the entire place erupted when he completed that number it was thunderous applause...accept for by me...I had Sayesha fans by me......ahhh but I did my fair share of squeeling!

We drove home after the taping as fast as we could...LA Traffic and all, we would go to my house and get there a little after the show started and the girls would all be huddled around the flat screen screeming when they saw themselves...and of course squeeling when their fav came on...and then....as soon as it was over the power voting began...we wanted the finale to be a double header....David David! I knew all along it would be the two of them in the end.

This was the craziest experience to share with my daughter.....I will try and get to Neil Diamond night.....as I remember instances I will update....happy reading!
