What better way to spend Valentine's Day than with my husband and one of the most talented musicians ever! I attended David's concert at the Beau Rivage Casino and all I can say is this guy is the most sincere, thoughtful guy on the face of the earth! When my husband and I arrived at our seats, there were Valentine's Day cards signed by David, you know, like the ones you buy for your children to hand out at school - how freakin' adorable is that! And although I was seated at THE VERY TOP row of the arena, it was an awesome show and the view was excellent! It's probably a good thing I was seated at the top with no one behind me since I was like one of the only ones standing up through the entire concert. I mean, come on people, it's a rock concert! You can't sit down at a rock concert! Where's the fun in that! Plus, it's David Cook, and who can actually SIT DOWN while watching DAVID FREGGIN' COOK! Everything about my entire night was awesome, awesome, awesome!

I was bummed, though, that I couldn't bring my three-year-old daughter who's a huge fan of David's. Sorry, but I just can't see bringing a toddler to a casino for a rock concert, keeping her up till 11:00 p.m. So I did the next best thing, I brought her home her very own DC t-shirt and handed her one of the V-day cards that is signed by David and told her, "David wanted me to give this to you. It's your Valentine's Day card from him." Which, of course, made her day! Here's the video I made of her thanking him for her card. Isn't she an absolute doll!!
