I'm sure by now it's nothing new to have a friend and/or fan offering condolences to you and your family...but at this time i feel even though it may not make the pain any less...it is the thought that counts and i'm sure you know and appreciate that as well. Without disrespecting your privacy I would like to offer my thoughts and prayers for you and your family during this trying time. I lost my father to cancer when i was 12...but I won't pretend to know how it feels to lose a sibling. I believe people are put into our lives with good reason. They are in our lives for many years or just a few weeks or months...but that doesn't make the time we've spent with them any more or less special or meaningful. All i can offer is to focus on the happy times and know his life was all the more blessed for having known you...and yours will continue to be blessed with the happy memories you will carry with you always. You brought us along on your idol journey and beyond, and now comes a time where we return the favor and offer you our love and support. You may have won the title of American Idol...but even more than that you truly are an American Inspiration.
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry abot the loss of a special person in your life. He didn't deserve to pass on at such young age, and you and the rest of your family did NOT deserve to loose a loved one. I don't understand...I prayed EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for him; and this happens. You pointed to a girl standing in front of the stage behind some other people, and lovingly handed her one of your picks. That girl was me.

I understand and support that you had to cancel the shows in CT and NH but I at least want to know why they were unable to be rescheduled. Your management team should be aware that a great deal of the students made an exorbitant amount of money off of these tickets. I take responsibility for the fact that I paid more than the asking price of $2. I graciously accepted my monetary loss until I realized that your tour had been extended into October. Although this indicates a success for you, it has made me feel that you have forgotten the CT and NH fans. Please post an explanation as to why these shows were not rescheduled.

Come Back To Me is also a country song. Why hasn't it been released to the country music radio stations? I called one of our local country music stations, The Rebel, WPFB-FM/105.9, and talked with the DJ. I asked him if he could play your new song, and that I thought it sounded like a country song. He said he happened to have David's new cd, and he would listen to it again. He said he also thought it was a country song. This is a whole new market for you, David. You should take advantage of it. If there's anything you can do from your end, please help us get your music out to the country listeners, too. Also, it would be nice to see you at the next country music awards right next to Carrie Underwood! Who can resist your new video? Not me...
BTW, I like rocknroll, but I do have a few country cd's. just wanted to say that i did go to ur concert on march 1st(my birthday) in newburg newyork. i dont know if u remember me but i got VIP passes to see u backstage. i came from 4 hours away!! u were not feeling good but u were nicee enough to come and see the fans anyway. it was amazing to see u. i cant tell u how big of a fan i am( even though i am only 12) my friends say i have a problem!! haaaha!!
i had no idea i was goin until 2 days before the show and i didnt get passes until this really nice lady said i could have hers after the concert!!! i almost died!! hhahahaahaa!!

Forgotten Fans?
I understand and support that you had to cancel the shows in CT and NH but I at least want to know why they were unable to be rescheduled. Your management team should be aware that a great deal of the students made an exorbitant amount of money off of these tickets. I take responsibility for the fact that I paid more than the asking price of $2. I graciously accepted my monetary loss until I realized that your tour had been extended into October. Although this indicates a success for you, it has made me feel that you have forgotten the CT and NH fans. Please post an explanation as to why these shows were not rescheduled.

I am one of your older fans that jumped through hoops to get tickets to go see your show in New Haven Connecticut. I understand why you canceled the show and respect your decision. I would have done the same thing. Spending time with your brother is very important. I know you posted you are trying diligently to reschedule the two shows you canceled and was very happy to here that. The friend I was going with to see the concert called Southern today and the person that answered the phone said it did not look hopeful. IS THAT TRUE??!! I seen that you are having a show in Akron Ohio...but it did not take to long to sell out. One of my favorite Venues to go to is the House Of Blues in Cleveland Ohio. It would be great to get to see you there. I had always said from the first time I seen you on idol that I would go to your concert. But that is not easy to do when it sold out so quickly. Do you plan on having any shows in the Cleveland area? Hope to see you soon.

You Should Release Your New Song to The Country Music Stations
Come Back To Me is also a country song. Why hasn't it been released to the country music radio stations? I called one of our local country music stations, The Rebel, WPFB-FM/105.9, and talked with the DJ. I asked him if he could play your new song, and that I thought it sounded like a country song. He said he happened to have David's new cd, and he would listen to it again. He said he also thought it was a country song. This is a whole new market for you, David. You should take advantage of it. If there's anything you can do from your end, please help us get your music out to the country listeners, too. Also, it would be nice to see you at the next country music awards right next to Carrie Underwood! Who can resist your new video? Not me...
BTW, I like rocknroll, but I do have a few country cd's. David, you made me like "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (Aerosmith original, but I didn't like their version)...this is definitely a country song. Now you have another country hit, so I hope you can help get your music out to the country listeners.

I am such a big fan. I knew almost from the beginning that you would win idol. And mind you I live about 5 blocks away from Archie. I admit there are a lot of people who thought he would win just because our town made such a big deal about Archie. Not me I had no doubt that you would win and rightly so you deserved to win.
It would really be great if you could add just one more city to your tour. You have a lot of fans here.
