that in order to expand his fan base he has to alienate some of his current fan base is just preposterous.
David is indeed special. he is probably the only artist on the planet that some of his fanbase is perceived as problematic to his image.
unfortunately that's the loud and clear message going out to david fans on his FIRST tour.
a fan of an artist wants to be there for his FIRST tour, not be excluded!
where there is a demand there should be supply so why stick with the ideal notion of a college tour at this stage of his career when it's more than obvious that david has surpassed the capacity of small college venues merely by the fact that he was exposed to the public on a show like idol?
it's posible that in the eyes of his managment the thought of him not selling out bigger venues is so dreadful. of course image is everything hence more important than some of his fans. they should wait for their turn.
the thing is that based on david's own words every fan is important to him so why he is perceive otherwise on his first tour?
fact is that there is a portion of his fan base that is frustrated right now and is voicing their thoughts here.
no need to gang up on them and make them feel excluded from DCO as well!
