There are no seats for this concert at the Palladium. It is SRO, unless you have a VIP pass. The seat numbers mean nothing.
Also, your chances of getting a reply from anyone at the Palladium are slim to none, so save yourself the time. If you have contact the VIP people, your chances of an answer are much higher, but not likely on concert day.
Will call opens at 5:30, so I'm guessing the door will open around that time or shortly thereafter.
Parking is $10 in a seedy parking lot and VIP parking is $20, I think.
Have fun!
No, mine say GA6 30-32 (three tickets). I've been trying to call the Palladium to ask, but no one answers. When you look on the seating chart on the website, there appear to be rows and seats designated in the General Admission area, but they don't correspond to the numbers I have as there are no seats after 30.
Not sure about the seat # but i think its just a formality..
mine is GA7 seat 27. I s yours the same?
My tickets to the Palladium Concert are General Admission, but have a row and seat number. Does anyone know what this means?
Wooo to the Hooo!!! Can't wait.... 2nd DC concert! Went to the 100th show in Tn in Aug (got a FREE t shirt!). Will be wearing it tonite!
I'll be easy to spot since I'm going to be in a wheelchair. I'm not happy about it but with my back problem it is the only way I can see I will make it through everything. I will be looking for fellow DCO fans so don't think I'm some kind of crazy stalker person. I just want to meet as many of you as I can.
I can't believe this is less than 24 hours away. Where has this last 30 days gone?

Well, I was certainly hoping we'd get an answer sooner rather than later, but no luck yet.. I guess unless I hear information to the contrary, I'll plan on being there between 5:30 and 6:00. I don't think this is going to be a sell-out. Truthfully, with the Cowboys playing the Eagles on the same night, I think every concert in this town will have a tough time attracting an audience.
Peggy and Linda, I sent you both a pm. Dina and Jamie, I hope to find you there and introduce myself. If you see a really short lady with short brown hair, it's probably me. If you want to send me a message on twitter, send it to @seamombe.
seamom,
When I e-mailed them on a Tuesday they didn't return my e-mail until Saturday. I would expect the same from your e-mail.
I called the Palladium today and they told me the doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 8:00, but I wouldn't trust that information until we see what the email says. I was thinking the show would be like the El Paso show tonight, since it also started at 8:00 and both GRO and the Script opened. David started tonight at 10:00 (MT).
I sent an email to the Palladium asking how far in advance the doors are open. The posted show time is 6:30 so I would anticipate between 30 minutes to 1 hours in advance. Hopefully, they'll email me back quickly.
I think the doors open at 5:30 but I'm not positive.
What time is everyone planning to be there? It's my first time so I don't know how early I should be there.
I heard a promo for the concert on Mix 102.9 on my way into work this morning. The interesting thing was the background songs used were "Light On" (which I would expect) and "Lie". I hope this song will finally get the push it deserves!
I checked the Palladium website, but it only says show time at 6:30. I may try calling them later today to see what time the doors open. As for the concert order, I can only guess by the way it's listed that GRO opens with The Script following. It would also make sense since The Script has done larger concerts across the US and had an MTV video that fared well. They are probably more easily recognizable at this stage than GRO.

I'll be there and it's almost here! This will only be my 2nd concert, my first one was Winstar. I'm so excited about the surprises David tweeted about yesterday, I love surprises! Maybe we'll get OSTCYL! I do have a question, does the concert actually start at 6:30 or is that when the doors open? And does anyone know if the Script or GRO opens first? 6 more days!
Wow CookifiedTexan, I wish I could go to the Houston show but finances and health are preventing it right now. I am just really happy to finally get to see David live for the first time, but I am envious of you for getting to see him as many times as you have.
I'll be there. Duh. Will be coming in the night before from the Houston show.

At least in Dallas it is ususally kind of nice weather in November. But October is usually better than we've had before this year, so who knows what November will bring. I guess I'll just have to wait to see how I'm feeling the weekend of the show to decide how long I think I can just hang around and wait.
I only know that I am just really, really excited about this. I have waited a LONG time and had almost given up on a date being added close enough to attend. Then I am totally surprised by this date being added and it's only 15 minutes from my home. I feel incredibly lucky right now.
I am also looking forward to meeting other DCO fans. I hope we can all connect somehow.
My name is Dina. This will be the 2nd show for me and my daughter, Emily. We went to the Tulsa show, too, though very glad it is Fall and not the heat of summer. Tulsa was brutal inside and out! I could have made a fortune on deoderant and breath mints!
I know at the Tulsa show folks where there from 8 am for a 7 pm show. Not sure if we'll get there that early, but die-hard fans wanting to be on the rail just might do the same. We arrived 2 hours from the front and still had a great view, only 5-6 people in front of us.

It is by coffee alone I set my mind in motion.
It is by the juice of the bean that thoughts acquire speed,
the teeth acquire stains, shaking become a warning.

Well, this will be my first David live show, but not for lack of trying. I have bought tickets twice and then just before both shows I get really, very ill. Once with a back problem and the next time with pneumonia. I will be at this show regardless of my health, so if you see someone on a gurney with a paramedic in attendance you will know that's me and please stop by and say hi. LOL
Seriously, I would love to meet more DCOers at this show so we need to figure out a way to identify ourselves. Maybe I'll make a big poster that says DCO - UNITE HERE.
Once thing I do need to know. Just how early do you have to be there to get a semi decent place to stand?
As you can tell, I'm uniquely unqualified to start this topic, but here goes! If you're attending the show 11/8/09, come on in and introduce yourself. My name is Beverly and my daughter (Stephanie) and I will be attending the Palladium show. This will be our second show. We originally saw David & the band in Oklahoma City. Despite the overwhelming heat in the venue, it was a wonderful show. I hope to get to speak with you all there.
