David & The Guys Coming to Norfolk, VA on Dec. 2

Comments for this Forum Topic

Colbie is no longer showing up in the ads for this show. Am guessing this means she can longer make it. Anyone know for sure?

Is this the last show? He said something about Dec 5th but I might have been dreaming. If it is the last show would someone PLEASE let me know if you are going. I want to mail my mp3 recorder to someone to tape the show. All you have to do is click it on and off and mail it back. I will make it available for everyone. If you want some of my full mp3 recordings pm me. Linda

I got it free on pts, but it runs about $90 a night (that's the internet cheapest price from Choice Hotel's site).

No way would I even think about driving home that night..... and IF I did, I would be worthless as all get out the next day!

We hope to arrive around 1-2pm...... and will leave the next morning around 10-11am.

It will be WELL worth the drive...... I am SO excited!

harrisburg, maybe, but wow, thats such a long drive, i was tired driving back from york to pasadena after the show, we will be soooo tired to drive 4-5 hours back late...money is tight for me to for a hotel, but thats a long way.

aww everyone that's going to this have a great time!!! Wish i could attend Sad

I am going to call them later, just to be sure! I would hate to get there super early if I don't have to! I am driving down from the Baltimore area..... and I can't leave until about 9am!

Section 2 appears to be the best section... but I will take section one, row seven if that is what I got!

I am hoping he will do his full set..... and that the concert will just end later due to her being added. I doubt she is doing a full set, since I don't think she is doing a regular tour. Her site has only 5 tour dates listed between now and the end of the year (the Norfolk one is not listed).....

Poodie - I don't think the section designations on the email mean anything (though how I would love it if they did as mine says Row 1). It's probably just a way for them to keep track of sales.

And, I am concerned about set length - will really bum me out if adding Colbie shortens his time on stage.

OK, I just bought two tickets online..... it said GA for the purchase, but I got my email receipt and it says Section 1, Row 7, seats 16 & 17....

So, does that mean we have seats and don't have to get there super early to get close?

7th row sounds good to me!!

Anybody been there and know how it works at that venue, or should I call them and try to find out?

Now, they have added Colbie Caillat!? ugh! I mean not that i dislike her,....i just wouldn't really consider myself to be a fan either. I can deal with this, and probably even enjoy her set, so long as it doesn't cut into Dave's set time. I REALLY hope it doesn't! 'cus well,...that would just suck!

sounds like it is now a co-headlining gig, after everyone already bought their tix. His set has to be short with 3 acts on before him. Disappointing.

It is GA.

Looks like they added Colbie Caillat to the lineup. I know this is GA, but are there seats at this place? That is a lot of standing. And I am assuming David's set will stay the same length, please?

I just convinced a friend to go with me! She has David's CD, but has never seen him live! I was leaning towards going anyway (I went alone to Charlottesville, and it was SO incredible... AND I got to meet him and get his autograph).... but this seals the deal!

Woot!!!

Removed roomie request.

I am thinking about it.... it's about a 4 hr drive from me. I reserved a room at the Quality Inn 3 miles from the arena.... but I haven't bought the ticket yet. With it being General Admission, I am not worried about it selling out since it's a big place.

GA has me a bit worried.... how early would I need to get there to get close?

I was also contemplating the Charlotte show, but it's just TOO far to drive... 7 hrs each way.

anyone making the trip from baltimore, or dc? I wanna split costs. email me baldwintara@gmail.com

I'm sooo there!!!! This is so exciting! I really thought Richmond would have been my last show! I was contemplating a trip to Charlotte, but was not sure i would beable to pull it off. (with all the expenses, gas, hotel, food, ect. pushing alittle close to Christmas to be managing all that! I surely can not speak for everyone, but i dont exactly "got it" like that! lol! ) Now i dont have to! Norfolk is like a 1/2 hour from my house, maybe 40 min. Which, makes things alot easier! (not to mention CHEAPER!)
