DC on Ellen ... or not ?
I was wondering all this week on previews for Wednesdays Ellen show there was no mention of David Cook.This doesnt mean he might not be on but now im wondering.Will he be on wednesday the 26th or will he be on another day?And which day would that be?Its not that big of a deal to me since I watch Ellen everyday while I eat lunch but I still would like to know when hes going to be on.So does anybody know?
EDIT: Oh ok, ill just till monday then I guess.

David's appearance on Ellen was rescheduled; it was taped November 25 and is currently scheduled to air on Monday, December 1, 2008 (check your local listings)

Then Ellen made a comment about his "wife" and he said, "no no no, no wife." Or something like that. And he held up his ring finger to show no ring and said that he was just enjoying being a musician for now.

Thank goodness. I thought I missed it. It airs at 3:00 in Chicago and I didn't get home until after 4:00. I will definitely be looking forward to it on Monday.

nanjowood - the whole band was on, sounding great. Ellen clearly is a big fan. Remember when he was on after the finale, she told him he was going to sell so many records? The thing I find so endearing about Cookie is that he still can't believe this is his life. Nothing has gone to his head and he's obviously loving every minute of it.
The Ellen show is airing where I live. They *just* ran a promo stating that David would be on Monday's show. Yay!

Was the whole band was on Ellen, or just David?
As the Ellen Project for Andy, we sent a very special portfolio to Ellen's staff (a 3 month project), hoping they'll have Andy (as To Have Heroes) on Ellen someday. We were hoping they'd look Andy over during the band's performance. (But we had the wrong staff member's name, so our follow up missed the taping by a few hours. Just curious now how much of an opportunity for Andy was missed.)
Can't wait to see the show. Thanks for your description of the taping.

I just got back from the taping with cookorhubbyhmmm. His show was taped today (Tuesday) and will air next Monday. He was delicious as always. Talked with Ellen first and then came back to sing Light On. Then he came out again to throw a ball (or four) at the dunk tank. He was charming and articulate.
