Here are some pictures of Neal I took in Shawnee. We were second row & I was finally able to see all the action up close!! It was amazing & Neal is truly incredible!! Even though we were towards the center, Neal kept distracting me. =)

Here's a glowing review of David & the band - actually written as a preview to the upcoming Casino Rama show in Toronto. I'm posting the link it here and on Andy's thread (with an excerpt) because the writer gives each of the band members great props. Seems like a DCO fan wrote it!

Cook's band consists of legend-in-the-making lead guitarist/music director Neal Tiemann; multi-talented Andy Skib on guitar/keys/primary backup vocalist, and drummer extraordinaire/back up vocalist Kyle Peek. Rounding out the quintet with tremendous bass guitar and pick flinging skills is Tulsa musician Monty Anderson currently "on loan" from Phil Marshall's band. Months on the road have allowed Cook and his band to get that all important synergy to impressive levels yet still exude the freshness and excitement of a debut tour.

I love to watch Neal F. Tiemann play (and lick) his guitar. So talented! I had a dream about him early this morning and thought this would be a good place to share it!
I was back in college and arrived at one of my classes to find that Neal Fing Tiemann was the TA (Teacher's Assistant or is it PA - Professors Assistant anyway to those who may not be familiar with the term. The TA or PA is generally an upper class student who teaches the class without the professor present so not sure why they are called that. It should actually be called "this is how we keep college affordable by replacing professors with really smart upper classmen from time to time"). Anyway - It is Neal minus the facial piercings and tattoos, but with the black Buddy Holly type glasses.
So I go to his office after class one day. I hadn't quite decided what to say so I was standing in the hall when he opened the door and another student left.
He said, "How can I help you".
I am totally unprepared and said, "Oh, I forgot what I was going to ask you."
Neal - "Well, I have to go down stairs to check on something. You can come with me and maybe you'll remember."
Me - "Okay."
We walk downstairs and chat a bit. Then he says - "So how old is your sister?"
Me - "My sister? Well she is your age, why?" (Oh yea, in this dream Neal is actually older than me)
Neal - "Would she be interested in going out with me? That is the real reason you're here. Isn't it?"
Me - "Ummm, not exactly. Ummm, I was going, ummm, to invite you to a party with ME."
Neal - "But you're in my class."
Me - "Ya, would that be naughty? Because I like to be naughty!" Then I lean forward and give him a very long and passionate kiss. Then...
RL - the yard guy shows up, the dog starts barking and I wake up!!!
Well, it was fun to be younger than Neal Fing Tiemann for a short time and the kiss was lovely, too.

IMO it would be a shame to mark up anything that beautiful. But that's just me, and we don't own him, and he can do what he wants to his face.
And you can't see it...but thanks to those pics I'm breathing into a paper bag (in between typing) to keep from hyperventilating.
I had to laugh at him getting people going like that. Frankly, he can do what he wants.

I was devastated when I read his tweet this morning - @nealfingtiemann: "I'm gonna be tattooed by two of the worlds most famous tattooers on my face. Who wants to video?"

I really dont know how I made it without passing out or something lol When he came over right in front of me, I could have reached out my arm & touched him, of course, I wouldn't do that but he was that close.

Taylor_Sue - you're right about the shirts.
In Idaho Falls his shirt was unbuttoned pretty far down - but covered by bandana. But when he'd lean forward...nice...very nice...
