I'll be there. Still deciding if I want to book a room for the night or drive back home. Leaning towards the room so I don't have to worry about the drive back at night.
I'm going, (hopefully, crosses fingers!
) and I'm positively bouncing up and down with excitement...hmmm, sight-seeing in Cleveland? Not really that much to do, besides RR Hall of Fame, except maybe going to Tower City. That's usually fun, there's shopping and stuff there. And a movie theater. And really good ice cream!
I can't wait for Thursday!!!
It's so quiet in here, given only 3 more days! We're leaving Wed a.m. for road trip and hope to go the RR Hall of Fame Wed afternoon or Thurs afternoon. Anyone else going?
Any other good ideas of sightseeing in Cleveland? What's your guess about the band driving from Alleghan after the show on Tues and spending Wed & Thurs in Cleveland?

Hmmm - thanks. Last time I checked I saw GRO on the HOB website. I just got an e-mail from them last week and it was listed. They must have taken it down.
Sooooooooooooooooooooo excited about this show. My friends and I are nuts. We have 12:30 lunch ressies and are then sitting in line all day. I am finishing up a horrendous quarter of grad school so i don't care if I have to sit and stare at a wall all day. At least I won't be studying!

Does anyone know who will be opening for David at this show since GRO is done? I was thinking they would be making a special appearance again with him but this show is not listed on their website.
I am so there. I was able to preorder on June 10th before they went on sale to the general public. The balcony was the reserved seating which I believe sold out either that day or early on the 11th. Because when I went back to check all that was left was GA. I have been keeping an eye on the tickets and now when you go to purchase tickets it says no matches found. So not sure if sold out or not HOB still says tickets available. I sure hope this show is sold out I'm so glad that Ohio knows how to show David how much we love him.
reading the HOB Chicago and New Orleans - sounds like HOB is a fabulous venue. Tickets have arrived. I don't want to wish the summer away but....

There are several hotels in the area - I think there is a Hampton Inn a block or so away, a Holiday Inn Express about 3 blocks away and a Hilton Garden Hotel about three block in the other direction. There is also a Marriott nearby and a few more I can't remember off the top of my head.. It is not a bad area. It is right downtown, not in a super seedy part of town or anything.
just got our GA tickets today. 6 hour drive, but it will be worth it! Any locals have recommendations for good hotel close by HOB? Is this a nice area to stay in? We're for sure doing the R&R Hall of Fame too.
It will be great to meet up with other fans.

OU_Stacey - are you an OU student or grad? I graduated from there in '96! Athens is incredible. DH and I have been craving Casa and the Burrito Buggy for some time now. We visited 2 years ago and I need to go back!

AM so bummed I can't got to Cleveland, but it is my son's b day. I can't believe all the Ohio shows though...that is so awesome for us.
I got my 4 GA tics yesterday too! So excited. Only 13 more weeks - but who is counting. We are hoping to get their early. CandaDC - hopefully we will meet up again! I will be with the same three crazy girls I was with last time. We are going to have a blast!
I have a balcony seat and 2 GA tickets, and I'm planning to attempt to buy another balcony seat Friday morning. So I will at some point have at least 1 ticket for sale, and possibly 2, depending on whether or not my husband can come with. (It'll depend on his tennis schedule.)
But one way or another: I'M COMING. So excited!!!

It's funny how much appreciation I have for this state as it's only a 5 hour drive , and Cleveland is even closer than Elyria so it's within the realm of do-ability for me! Picked up tickets today for HOB... and I've got just one thing to saaayyy....."Cleveland Rocks"

My g-ma is in Akron so it's just a hop n' skip away from her to get to the show.....okay not really but hush I want to go! lol!! I miss Ohio, too...haven't been up there in awhile. So it'll be nice overall

I am so excited too. I had a chance to see him in May in Elyria, but the HOB is about 15 minutes from me as opposed to the 40 minute drive there. I have been waiting for a Cleveland stop!
Another Ohio date?! Wow! The concert is Thursday, Sept. 17 at the House of Blues.
When is the Cleveland date???
