Temecula, CA.... Pechanga Casino Dec. 30th & 31st
There are two tour dates for this, eh? Anyone coming to both? I'm sorta thinking on which day should I go to.... LOL I'm planning on the 31st

Follia, you already know my thoughts on organizing. We won't be at the Pechanga, I believe we are staying at La Quinta (depends on what is available as of December 1st). Whatever the case, we will be close by and will definitely help with whatever is needed.

Zoo,
I feel the same way about the Pechanga administration. Maybe she meant the hotel had no reservations left for the 31st, but that was not the context of our conversation. Thanks for straightening that out. I would not want anyone to give up on the idea of going because they thought they couldn't get tickets.
Hmmm...I'm a little confused that they would tell you the 31st was sold out. I just went on the site and could have bought a ticket if I had wanted to. I wish they could get their facts straight.
Jeannine
OK, so Polarbrrr and I have a NYE package at the Pechanga. But we also have tickets for NYE. If we can sell the tickets that come with the room, we could stay at Pechanga. Otherwise, we'll cancel and stay at the Hampton Inn.
The Catch: reservations won't tell us where the seats are. They are in the Golden Section, but they won't specify and say that we'll only know when we get there. So frustrating. I can try my luck with the box office directly, but won't bother unless someone has a real interest in buying 2 tickets for NYE.
I'd love to get an idea about who all will be at Pechanga and which nights. I'd love us to plan a few surprises for David. Just some fun stuff to let him know, you know, that we know. I called the Hotel tonight. "People are coming from all over the world", she said.
Oh yeah.
Any ideas or any desire to "organize"?
..can't help it, gotta try again!!!
..if there is ANYONE out there that needs to get rid of one or two tix for either or both of the Pechanga nights, front row or at least first five rows or so, PLEASE email me

!!!
..am desperate to find some tix like described above, will do my best to make it worth your while, thanks again and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

What pure joy and happinesss you have brought us all... what a GIFT you are to all of us!!!!!!!
I'm confused about something, wonder if anyone can shed light on it. I have an even-numbered orchestra seat. The seat says "Orch Left" but when you look at the seating chart it looks like the even numbers in the Orch are in what I would call Orch. Right (right side of orchestra from audience's perspective, though they are stage left, i.e. Neal side)
https://www.pechanga.com/tickets/Online/seatSelect.asp?BOset::WSadmissio...
but if they really are in the Orch Left, that would be Andy side - but how can they be when this seating chart shows only odd number seats on that side - or am I reading the seating chart wrong? Thanks!
My tickets have been sold. Thank-you for the interest and enjoy the show. I know I will.
I'm going to Pechanga 30th and 31st. Have tickets for both nights and room at the Hampton for both nights. Can't wait.
But:
I want to put this out there just in case someone is in need. I'm holding a reservation for Pechanga on the 30th and another reservation for NYE that comes with two golden section tickets. Price for 30th is quite reasonable. Price for NYE is pretty steep. I am going to cancel out of both nights next week or so. If anyone wants a room at the casino, PM me, we might be able to do a switch. I don't know what availability is like right now.
Also, I'm holding extra rooms at the Hampton. One is a queen double, and the other is a larger room with 2 queen beds a pull out sofa and room for a rollaway. Hampton will only take a reservation for 2 nights. Again, I don't know what availability is like at the Hampton right now. Will be canceling the extra rooms also. PM me if you're in need.
If by chance someone out there has a change of plans and can't make it to the show on NYE, please let me know as I am looking for tickets (2). Obviously, I would like to be as close as possible and am willing to pay decent money for them!! Thank you.
You can reach me at kathypinaz@yahoo.com
OMG, now I am super excited, I am going to both shows, thanks to my friend mags for inviting me to the show on the 30th, I really think I would explode if I get any more excited. YAHOOOOOOO!!!

I'm trying to get my plans straightened out so I can be there for both nights. Locating decently priced flights is the biggest challenge right now.

From everything I have been "hearing" this is going to be a "Don't Miss" event. I can't wait to see what surprises David and the Anthemic have in store for us this night.
I put up a picture of the inside of the showroom a little further down thread if anyone is interested in seeing where they will be sitting.
--

I think the no camera policy is what most venues do. They have the rule and then it can be ignored based upon the artist's wishes. I saw many people taking pictures in Friant when there was a no camera rule. Since I don't take pictures, anyway, I don't pay that much attention.
Jeannine
Thanks for the info on cameras susie I plan on bringing mine. It just wouldn't be the same if we couldn't get this in pictures.
--

Hey everyone, I spoke with someone in the box office today. The printed tickets have very harsh things to say about bringing in cameras (the tickets say you will be escorted out!!). So I thought I would ask. They do have a no-camera policy but the rep in the box office says they really don't enforce it. She said people almost always bring in cameras and they don't stop them. She did say they would stop people if they saw them videotaping. She added that sometimes a particular artist will ask that no cameras be allowed, and then they will set up a table to check for cameras on the way into the Showroom. However, she was joking that Dave likes cameras, so that would not be an issue for this show. In the past, I have heard conflicting things from security/box office at various venues on this subject, but this sounds promising for those interested in getting some photos. Cheers.
Sorry if this has been discussed already, I haven't read back through all the posts. Does anybody know if minors are allowed in the casino as long as they don't gamble/drink?

I have four tickets for 12/31 for sale. Two tickets in row O and two in row P. Face value only. My husband bought me tickets for a Christmas present and ended up with four extra. They may not be "up close and personal" seats but the way I see it - anywhere in the room with David Cook on New Years Eve is a good seat. Plus they aren't from somone trying to make money from it. PM me if interested.
I am looking to buy 2 tickets for 12/31. If anyone is willing or needs to part with them and they are located within the first 5 rows - please let me know at kathypinaz@yahoo.com.
Thanks so much -
Kathy
someone emailed me about buying tickets in the third row...if you see this PM me back please

Hi everyone!
I have two tickets available for each night. Dec 30th - Orchestra left row F and Dec 31st - Gold left row K. I only want what I paid for them. For more info please PM me. I can't wait ! It is going to be an incredible time!

Here is an inside look at the Pechanga Showroom.
They've got CUP HOLDERS!! LOL! May not seem important but when I went to the Spreckels Theater was nowhere to put my bottle of water. I just hate putting it on the Floor in the dark.
Polarbrrr,
I sent you a message regarding the tickets for 12/31.
Thanks,
Tiffany

Polarbrrr, can you do StubHub from the great white north or is that a US thing only? You might consider putting them there too, there are a few listed for both nights that are similar to yours so you'd have just as good a chance. I've listed and sold on StubHub and it's pretty straightforward, you just need to get the tickets out as soon as they are sold. If you want help, PM here or dm me on twitter and I might be able to help you.

I don't think there are any plans to organize a "hunt" for them. I, for one, would not be a part of anything like that. It's just for DCO'ers to hook up and meet one another. Like I mentioned before, I wasn't looking for David or the Guys, they just happen to come into the same restaurant, just shear luck for me, that's about how it happens at places like this, if you go out looking odds are you will not find. So if anyone happens to run into them then great if not Oh, Well!
--

I agree w/ zoo. The place is pretty small anyway, so if the guys are wandering around and everyone else is just going about their own business, the odds are just as good to meet them, if you want. They will probably have a lot of their own friends and/or family there too, just a thought.
I'll be out wine-tasting during the day, myself.
Edited: Sorry, I was kind of harsh with my comment (now removed), I hope anyone who wants to meet David or the band is able to do so. I also hope DCO'ers get a chance to meet up with new fellow fans too.

I'm not so enraptured with the thought of making an effort to find any of them when they are on their own time. I feel we should let them enjoy the time as much as we do. If we bump into each other, so be it. But don't make it a project to locate them.
Jeannine
Great idea Marge1157
I will be there sometime in the afternoon on the 31st. We could pm each other with cell numbers as the date nears, but I will be in Ca. on Dec 23rd.
I don't know the best place to see him out and about, but last year in Vegas, David and the Guys walked into the same restaurant I was having dinner at and that's how I met him. It was an ahhh moment for me.
--

We need to organize a get-together for those who will be at Pechanga. Maybe DC would join us!!
Do ya think he'll be staying at the Pechanga resort? Will we see him walking the halls and casino?
Who is playing with him these nights? Is GRO and/or Script coming along for the ride?

When I called about the seating I was told by the box office: "The seats that come with the room package are in rows H-N. They could not tell me what the seat numbers were. The theater only holds 1200 and there are only 27 rows."
So we'll have to see what we get when we get there
--

I got tickets with the room/ticket/package deal today, but they won't specify what seats or rows. Just that they are a block of seats in the gold section. Looking at the venue, it seems most in the gold section would be pretty good.
if anyone is selling the first 5 rows for the 31st i would pay you top dollar...message me please thanks

FOR SALE: 2 tickets for the 12/30 show, Golden Circ center section, Row L, seats 110-111. Face value $80 per.
Also have a spare ticket for the NYE show but can't tell you what seat it is. It's one of the tix that comes with our room package but one of my roomies bought her own seat closer up, so now I have this extra ticket. Since it came with the room, don't exactly know what the face value of the ticket is, but would take $80 for it.
And also, we still need one more roomie for both nights. Our room has 2 queen beds so, enough for 4 people. So far, 3 of us are in. PM me here if interested, or tweet me a DM (same handle as here).

Anyone have suggestions on the easiest (and cost effective) way to get from Madison/Milwaukee/Chicago to Temecula?

Follia, Row O would be great cuz no one would be standing in front of ya. I might be interested in ONE ticket in Row O for 12/31. Would you sell only one?
I'm coming from Madison, Wisconsin, so it will be a long trek for me. But what a way to bring in the new year.
You said lots of lodging in the area. It's New Year's Eve ... will it be hard to find a room tho?
